Well most of the govt try to do the same. After 9/11 false flag attacks, US govt snatched a lot of freedom from the people and many European countries are doing the same and they are using technology but the extent and ways are different.

Mr Rusty should release a video on Youtube threatening to murder the head of state of Canada or Pakistan. An hour later he has been arrested and asking why he is being detained as he has not committed the crime yet. Similar to the flag desecration case which is a criminal offense in many countries.

Freedom of speech has a price, insulting the head of state is also a criminal act in many western countries.
