Her album is in English becoz she is targeting western audience since her voice is not good enough for Bollywood which doesn't have concept of popstars and only uses playback singers.
This simple fact is not getting through to you despite many people trying to explain.

I dont need to convince you if you feel she is doing great in copying others . I shared what i personally felt. We see every singer attempt to sing songs in his/her own native tongue before making debut album in non native language and worse video is horrible which dont represent her culture ..I bet people like you dont even surprise when see sunny leone acting in hindi movie ..good luck to all these IBCD(indian born confused desi) who are living in india and wish to copy everything westsern even singing/dressing

Well there is no standard Indian English accent per se,Indian English accent depends on your native language.A Punjabi speaking Indian will have a different english accent than a Bengali speaking Indian.As you are living in the UK you probably know how the regional english accents thing works ?

If you watch the first video you will see that these are famous Indian people from different Indian ethnicity and you will find some similarity in their accent irrespective of whether they are from south or north India. The way they stress on some alphabets and pronounce some words are very much similar and seem different/unique as compare to those belong to different race say Chinese or African .In UK we have Scottish, welsh, Irish people who had different accent of English than those who live in England . British born Indians also don't have same accent than those who live in India even though they both belong to same race but because English is first language of these British born kid that's why they sound different when speak English. If PC was British/American born and had made this music album then i don't even bother to criticise her because then she would have English as her first language and we know everyone feel more comfortable singing in their native/first language which is original and come naturally without the need of acting or faking yourself

You have to remember that PC is in showbiz - that means, she has to act and speak and sing and behave according to what the performance demands. In real life, maybe she doesn't speak with a fake accent.

I have seen all sorts of people - including ones who put on a fake accent when they are in the US, and sometimes in India. I have two young (less than 10 years old) relatives in the US who were born and brought up there, and both those girls speak in perfectly natural accents for the state they reside in. (North east USA.) I can't differentiate their accents from that of any other American from that state/region. On the other hand, I have also met with Indians in the US who try to fake an American accent, and end up sounding ridiculous.

Like you, I have contempt for people who try to fake an accent. But don't criticize an actress/singer in a music video for that - as I said before, she may have legitimate reasons for doing it, like marketing her product to an international audience.

Its not about dating which is private affairs and i don't have any problem with Inter racial dating. Why she did not hire Indian male model for her music video when she is Indian herself who is faking to sing in gora accent and failed miserably. Its her singing in not native lanaguge which is actually embarrassment

The white guy is Pitbul, he is an American singer ^^... would be kinda strange to put an Indian into the video to replace Pitbul who worked on the song and video as well
