Press TV correspondent Maya Nasser was shot and killed by snipers in the Syrian capital of Damascus, the Iranian state news agency reported on Wednesday.

Press TV also reported that Hussein Mortada, their Damascus bureau chief and head of the Al-Alam television network, was wounded in the Syrian capital.*
