:tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup:

This is outrageously criminal... they turned a desert lion into a chariot... Only Hanuman and the dhwaja on the top is missing andthey could have added a few horses in front for the effect...

I can't stop laughing with disgust on how they have used the camo scheme to give her protection from the 'bombardment from sun' and bolted seats on the back of a mammoth T-90 to make it look like a ride of 3000BC... Pathetic!!!

I am sure our boys would have had guffas of laughs after she would have left after this melodramatic presence... When Dr. Kalam did such things, there was a sense of pride... when she does it, everyone is so bloody sure that she is just a show off and a poor one at that... I liked that idea of letting her try and be latched on to a Brahmos....

. . .
I'm all for encasing Ms. Patil within a T-90, strip away all armor, and park it on one of our two borders and invite our neighbors to take a free shot.

Then again, if wishes were fishes.......

.
wtf is she upto when i read riding on a tank i thought IN the tank ON the commanders seat not ON the tank

. . .
I dont think there is anything wrong in it. Gives boost to morale of armymen that their chief is riding their vehicles. :)

In ideal circumstances it is a definite yes and I agree with you completely that the chief commandant of defence forces is with them should be a definite boost for the men in uniform...

The issues is when u compare that with the irony of the actual situation that look there comes the lady, here is a bolted seat for her on top of a MBT and she has no idea of what she is doing and we all know what she is there.. To a soldier this might still not matter, but for you and me, the curse of education has ensured that we know the reality of how she got the post and how much is she involved and that, my friend, takes out the 'kick' that this should give in an ideal state... Would u expect APJ to sit on a bolted seat om top of an MBT or inside the turret? why should she be any different?

I can not even imagine, what would have happened, had the Su 30 MKI pilot had gone for a 'cobra stop' (pardon me if the naming is incorrect) in the middle of her sortie or much less, would have given her a nice multiple G ride... my only problem is that it is too hard to believe that she belongs to that esteemed post! simple as that... nothing more...

Come on, dont think too much about it. We Indians have special way of doing things, at least we know tanks can be used in this manner.
I like the juggad of making tank ride easy for an elderly lady.
She is president, there were better president before her, and worse(remember Jail Singh?). I would prefer a lame duck president, and she fits the bill.

Ha ha ha... It was Gyani Zial Singh.. not Jail Singh... ha ha ha... and love the 'Jugaad' thing that u talked about... 20 guys loaded on a motorcycle engine with multiple bolted parts that look like a seating arrangement... Real innovation at work... Missing home a lot more now a days...
