president of Bolivia Evo Morales ousted in coup d'etat

‘Stop the massacre!’ Evo Morales appeals to Bolivian military as 5 killed in crackdown by ‘interim’ government (GRAPHIC)

Bolivia’s ousted leader Evo Morales pleaded with his country’s military to stop firing on unarmed demonstrators protesting the coup-imposed interim leadership, after several activists were killed in clashes with security forces.
“We ask the armed forces and the Bolivian Police to stop the massacre,” Morales said in a tweet late on Friday. “The uniform of the institutions of the Homeland cannot be stained with the blood of our people.”

At least five protesters were killed and some 75 injured in the streets of Cochabamba on Friday during hectic skirmishes with police and military after thousands of indigenous Morales backers gathered to protest the socialist leader’s ouster.

just as how the white people massacred the red Indians, the US pupets in Bolivia also want to marginalizs the indegenous people, that is because the original people of this land do not support imperialism.

The Poorest Countries In South America
Bolivia has the lowest GDP per capita in South America

Despite a series of mostly political setbacks, between 2006 and 2009 the Morales administration has spurred growth higher than at any point in the preceding 30 years. The growth was accompanied by a moderate decrease in inequality.[76] A surplus budget of 1.7% (GDP) was obtained by 2012, the government runs surpluses since Morales administration reflecting a prudent economic management

. . .
Under Morales, Bolivia's GDP per capita QUADRUPLED from around $1100 in 2006 to $3600 in 2019.

Under Morales, Bolivia's poverty rate fell from 32% in 2005 to <12% in 2017.

Morales won 47% of the vote in the latest election, more than 10% more than the closest rival (and a higher % of the vote than the current US President won). The 4th election in a row (2005-2019) that the Bolivian people clearly voted for Morales - the first indigenous leader of Bolivia.

The fascist coup leaders know they cannot beat Morales at the polls, so their only choice was to murder and torture government ministers until Morales stepped down. Morales even offered a re-run of the election, but this isn't something the fascist coup leaders were interested in, for obvious reasons.

The Fascist Coup Leader Jeanine Chavez - the new "president" of Bolivia - is an explicit fascist and is on public record stating: "I dream of a Bolivia free of indigenous satanic rites, the city is not for 'Indians,' they better go to the highlands or El Chaco."

As she entered office to a position she was never voted into and stole via violence, she carried a Bible and told the crowds "The Bible returns to the Palace".

This fanatical evangelical racist is brought to power by CIA-backed violence with the Bolivian people having their democratic expressions at the polls overturned. All because Bolivia has huge lithium reserves and the US wants their hands on it (notice how Tesla's stock rocketed recently).

Pro-fascist coup bot accounts are all over Twitter, posting the same message from hundreds of random fake accounts. A pro-fascist coup hashtag was even trending in Virginia, the USA! The people of Virginia (where the CIA HQ is) can't place Bolivia on a map, yet they must really care about South American politics!

Seems 30 years ago they were all in bad shape in terms of per capita. I don't think he has outdone his neighbors. He's on the bottom.

Unfortunately, he couldn't secure the military support of Bolivia unlike Venezuela. That will be the key whether u stay or out. Without military support, he could not held on the power under threat of arms.

It's a real sad day when you place the importance of the military over the populace.

The US-backed fascist evangelical thugs were attacking the homes and families of anyone even loosely related to Morales and his government.

Unfortunately, Morales has too much integrity for his own good so he resigned to stop the Bolivian people suffering from this fascist CIA-backed coup.

A good government is sometimes beyond the understanding scope of the ordinary. The effect of good governing may take years or decades to see the fruit.

I think a good government is where the vast majority of the populace is happy. Needing the threat of a gun pointed at the the majority of the populace's face doesn't sound like a good governance strategy to me.

So now with Bolivian Indigeneous going on street to protest and getting oppressed by army or killed is considered happy?

I never said things were right or wrong in Bolivia. Any time the military is involved it can’t be good.

The military is supposed to be fighting other militaries not pointing guns in their own citizens faces. If they are doing that then there is certainly something very wrong.

Yes, so in this case. Jeanine anez is wrong since the military are supporting her. They are at her command killing protestors and not obeying Morales. Please do what you preach.
