Patience is running thin!! I don't see an end to the BNP/AL two-family monarchy unless some fresh blood challenges their hold in BD politics. General Zia, a Mahathir category dictator, did all he could to safeguard BD and propel the nation into prosperity, but that wasn't enough. We need a Stalin category dictator this time around. The current political class and the grassroots activists need to be disciplined!!!

What I wrote in the earlier post is my observation during my days in Dhaka University. I share your concerns but I don't see anything changing anytime soon. During the mid 80's Hasina actually had a bunch of useful folks around her including Dr. Kamal Hossain. She just couldn't stand people smarter then her. This fatso has jealousy built into her DNA. She now surrounds herself with foot lickers 24/7.

Khaleda Zia is not the same one from 80's and 90's.

I wish the military got rid off all these worthless scums, but that wasn't the case. Anyway somehow life goes on.

A pardon is the forgiveness of a crime and the cancellation of the relevant penalty.It is usually granted by a head of state like the president.

Generally these pardons come without much public interest. On occasion, eyebrows have been raised when the pardons seemed to be self-serving or politically motivated.

Clemency or just referring to amnesty and pardons.
