Both cannot be stopped.
Truth.
China side needs cheap labour.
Chinese companies in Viet Nam need high-productivity.
An un-skilled Chinese worker working for Chinese companies abroad can get much higher salary than domestically, can be $1500-2000 per month at least.

This is propaganda of Xin Hua. mistaken CNY to US$.

In fact Chinese workers are paid from 900 CNY to 1,500 CNY per month. This data is referred to Global Time in 2012.

Báo Trung Quốc: Vì sao lương công nhân thấp?

Then Viet illegal worker can only can 1/3 of 900yuan.
If u have the slightest sympathy for them, u should wish normal salary of Chinese workers higher.
If not, one third is really an abysmal number.

Chinese workers in Vietnam are managing the Vietnamese workers.
Vietnamese workers in China are still being managed by Chinese.
If one can tolerate week infra and boring local life in Viet land, working for Chinese companies in Viet land is not a bad option. They pay Chinese workers multiple times higher than local "legal" workers for higher productivity and higher efficiency.

not that boring. Vietnam is like China in 1998. right now their privatization move is just like China's in 1998 which led to millions of people becoming unemployed. My friends who have been to Vietnam liked it, but that was back in 2013.

I've been to Viet multiple times. cheap food, but have to be careful. Inexpensive adult entertainment.

all good for one month.

I have full confidence on the wisdom of the leadership on both sides of the border. Comrade Nam is an asset for China in the long run. These small glitches are good only for certain Western media.

China, Vietnam vow to promote economic ties

BEIJING, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said Thursday that Vietnam will strive to develop balanced and sustainable trade with China.

Chinese enterprises are encouraged to increase investment in infrastructure and interconnectivity projects in Vietnam, said Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the China-Vietnam Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum.

He expects both countries to facilitate bilateral trade by opening new trade channels and ports, extending port hours and establishing a one-stop customs clearance model.

Wang Jinzhen, deputy head of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), said trade between the two countries has been strengthened in recent years and the goal of raising bilateral trade revenue to over 100 billion U.S. dollars is expected to be realized by 2017.

Both sides can develop capacity cooperation in many sectors including electricity, rail transit, fertilizers, textiles and building materials, Wang added.

Jointly hosted by CCPIT and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, the forum focused on promoting economic ties between China and Vietnam, attracting more than 200 business people.

China has been the largest trade partner of Vietnam for years. Bilateral trade revenue reached 83.6 billion U.S. dollars last year, a year-on-year increase of 27.7 percent, official data showed.

lolwut? Chinese contractors in your country are hired by your government to do jobs that you do not have the ability to do, but they're still fully independent companies.

what do you think about "independent" here ?

when CN company signed in to contract, You have to obey our laws and regulations here in Vietnam. Its not permitted to use unskilled and no-licenced labour on th e project site.

But chinese companies tried to smuggle unskilled chinese from China to Vietnam to take a works. So such company have to pay a penalty for that they have validated of rules.

lmao if this was a huge issue then the media elsewhere would report it. But no Chinese or western media report it. However, western media frequently report about Vietnamese workers in China.
