Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, while coming down hard on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership, said that those making long speeches and criticising others have themselves turned Sindh into ruins.

Addressing a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of construction of flats for Pakistan Railways employees here, Saad Rafique said that Sindh was looking like ruins, despite the fact that the provincial government had funds of Rs900 billion.

He said that garbage was littered everywhere in Karachi, gutters were gushing and roads were broken. He said that Karachi was facing many problems, including transport, water supply, sanitation and other such problems.

He flayed the provincial government for its failure to fix the problems. He also criticised the former Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah, adding that he was not serious in initiating metro bus project and restoration of Karachi Circular Railway.

Welcoming MQM-Pakistan (MQM-P)’s decision to disown party founder Altaf Hussain, Rafique said that MQM-P leaders had been conveying their reservations to the London-based leadership, but they did not pay any heed to it which cost them.

I think PTI contested in Karachi last election and lost majority seats, so blame doesnt goto parties but people who vote them.

He is saying truth, No such development in sindh , what is sindh government doing, People should question them. Make them accountable. Also Nawaz sharif should visit sindh and see the destruction with naked eye and announce development projects there or do governor Raj if possible. Governor rule is no option. Sind assembly will reject any such step by federal gov. and play the dirty sind card as usual.

PPP and mqm votes are based on ethnicity, it has nothing to do with performance.

They will keep on getting votes on the basis of mohajiruam and sindhism whether they perform or not.

Apex committee of Sindh is presided over by CM not by PM.

Karachi only votes mqm and SIMD only vote PPP, so other parties do t waste their time and energies and they prefer areas of Punjab and kpk.

Because politics in Sindh is stagnant for decades and will remain so until Bhutto zinda hai, aur hum ko manzil nai rehnuma chahia.

Karachi and interior sind has never been a priority of pti.
Karachities voted for pti but pti and IK remain busy for the 4 constituencies of Punjab and showed middle finger to Karachi people.

Because N League consider Karachi/Sindh waste of time so they concentrate on Punjab, KPK, AJK, Balochistan, G-B where they win seats. Even PTI doesn't care about sindh now.

PPP and PML (N) both are the two sides of same coin. Saying that, no party made a serious efforts to reach inside Sindh. MQM and PPP both will be in government and at the time of Election will use ethnic card to get there supports. Like Sindh Hamara (PPP) , Shehar tmara (mqm) as pointed out by member. Further Sindh will never vote for PML (N) . One of my friend and Educated Sindhi an engineer, i asked him why people don't try other options.His reply was "PPP is bad but we will never vote for PML (N) as there leader is Punjabi".So PPP in reality doe not care as they know to get votes .
PTI should try ,IK did visit Sindh in last election but i think did not get any material support.
