You cannot imagine what poverty is unless you are suffering from it.
They sold their hard earned food for her bus fare
Her family was unable to pay her tuition fee
Residents of village paid for the girl’s cremation.

I just want to say that instead of wasting peoples money on luxury cars & choppers govt. should focus on things like poverty & girl education. But I think my statement is hurting some BJP fanboys.

Girls death is a tragedy but using it for political cause is another tragedy ..

poor and destitute are found in every states, i feel sad for that poor girl but as far as i know, Punjab features amongst the wealthiest states of India along with Gujarat and Haryana. akalis are suckers but i must say i can sense an aaptard.

It's a myth. Punjab is no longer better place in India. It's plagued with drugs abuse.

But media could had help them.Poverty is still a reality in India even in developed states.
A few years ago .There was news about the plight of a family
A father ,A mother and 5 newborn childrens ,5 kids in one delivery .4 daughters and 1 son.
After a few weeks that father killed himself due to the difficulties he faced with such a big family.
But that mother didnt give up.Local media explained their difficulties in adjacent with the news of her husband suicide.
Since then a lot of people from different parts of kerala helped them.Now all of that kids passed higher secondary level with distinction.

I am not a blind follower of any party or religion like you. I am just a common voter who is trying for new options because he is feeling frustrated because of these type of incidents.

Our Media is busy doing Secularism. Poverty is Rampant in our Country. Apparently, no one would have helped her. For me the Girl is Coward, as she gave up her life. She could have struggled and lead to success in life. I didn't say this in my 1st post, as it's a tragic incident & Bashing....

Rest in peace the poor girl. She should have been wise enough to realize that a plenty of students from extreme misery did carve their own way out towards success. She just had to put a little more fight.

Modi auctioned his official gifts to raise money for girl education. This is one fine example of good governance

They can't as you know Badal Family has monopoly on state transport business .

In our state students will get concession , less than half rate in public and private buses.
My friends told that in TN transportation is absolutely free for students.
