Most people here were like "How can you let American raid your country?". I still am equally aggrieved about the raid and our subsequent inaction as much as I am at the incompetency and a missed chance of nabbing OBL.

Not to mention returning the remnants of the stealth helo, completely unnecessary and compromising. As well as incompetent leaders, like AF Chief at the time Rao Qamar Suleman saying radars in Western Pakistan were supposedly off...

OBL was a big trophy and americans didnt want to share any credit hence all the secrecy but he had been living in our borders for a few good years and we did not get a hold of him..how shameful!

"Big trophy" but interestingly enough threw his body into the Arabian sea shortly after killing him; after a decade long search. Kind of odd.

That was not the thing. As per my information, the radars were completely active and they DID DETECT bogeys (not the helos). The bogeys were five F/A-18 and one AWACS air borne prior to the operation. The comment passed by PAF chief was, as per my source, due to the pressure from the citizens. He didn't investigate anything and the nation was fuming over him, he just said what he could think of.

Well, we didn't lose anything in both Abottobad and Navy base, I agree it just wrong location in PNS Mehran place which is easier for foreign chechan terrorists. Afterall, it was just experiences for Pakistan to learn lesson to improve security of all bases. The failure is we don't know the data history on terrorists where they are coming from or records. Yes, embarrassment moments but not make same mistake again.

What, you call the jihadists blowing up billion-dollar P-3C Orion aircrafts and similar other warplanes as losing nothing ? Secondly there were no chechen terrorists, they were your own homegrown Pakistani terrorists affiliated to TTP along with a few Uzbeks, with several insiders from PN. If Indians are not required to comment on this thread, then ask your Admins to create a setting which will disable comments on a origin-flag-basis.

The official statements said that the attack on PNS Mehran was NOT conducted by TTP and foreign countries were involved.
