I think you can disregard thaad since israel as a long time parter of india who also is somewhat successful in ecm knows everything about these thanks to usa technology transfer there.

That leaves Russia and China. If you can't buy from Russia you can go for a 200+km range high altitude missile of China. orcourse also produce decoy emitters as false targets to protect them. HQ16 for low altitudes is enough and can also protect the sam sites as well.
Otherwise you will remain far behind from India and risk your people for nothing. With slow reaction time of interceptors and older radars there will be a huge opening to strike the airbases leaving all the planes on the ground as in 67 arab israel war.

and yes square (and maybe other polygons like hexagon) shape reduces radar cross section as in the news below just basic geometric stealth and raad although low in range has this shape.

Without going into the utter hilarity of YOU calling others trolls, how was it trolling? The only two cases a war can start is

1. Another terrorist attack by Pakistani terrorism factory on Indian soil, warranting a response
2. Another military misadventure by Pakistan like Kargil, Operation Gibraltar etc

Once Pakistan desists from the above two, they have effectively countered all Indian weapons, Triumf included.

babur is old generation subsonic cruise missile comparable to kh-55 of russia both are based on later 70's Era Technology.Meanwhile many of the advanced defence systems have been developed to Counter even more sophisticated Cruise missiles like Brahmos

Defense systems like Aster-30 & Barak-8 can easily take on Supersonic cruise missile threats.
Leave subsonic threats aside .

When a cruise missile flying at 20 meter height hit you in the night. Then tell those obliterated corpses and systems that 70's era technology can not harm you

Why? when you can use MAR-1 & AGM-88 HARM against them.

The launch platforms of PAF would be roasted long before they can launch these missiles.

So what he actually did was.. went into wiki saw s-400's config where the speed of the 48N6 missile was at 6 mach and assumed it can't catch up the Shaheen because it has a greater speed

Mobile doesn't means you will drive it here and there,if one element of battery is destroyed it becomes useless. Regarding Standoff weapons we have Ra'ad ALCM.

1.Mobile exactly means, you can fire, pick up shop and change position.

2. It depends on which element is destroyed..Command truck or radar truck..yes. launcher, relay vehicle etc ..No.

3. Even if RAAD is fired at it maximum theoretical range of 350 Kms, it would still be inside S-400 range. Besides GPS or Tercom guided cruise missiles are not very effective against SAM batteries unless you know there exact co-ordinated..which is impossible to know..since it is not a fixed structure. Even if the missile battery moves 10 meters from its position the ALCM would be rendered useless.

4. One need a standoff ARM with 400 Km range to safely target such a SAM.

5. The worst part of Pakistan here is, all Pakistani airbases will be in S-400 range, As soon as in aircraft takes off , it can be targeted.

In my opinion, some of the counter-measures could be to:
1. Accelerate development of MIRVed ballistic missile system with at least 3 RVs.
2. Develop decoys & counter measures for RVs for missiles in development (Shaheen-IA, Shaheen-III).
3. Develop MaRVs for existing systems (Shaheen-IA, Shaheen-II, Shaheen-III).
4. Develop very low-observable (stealthier) versions of existing Babur & Ra'ad cruise missiles.
5. Produce more conventional ballistic & cruise missiles.
6. Buy J-31 for PAF to deploy in SEAD ops against S-400 batteries.
7. Acquire AEW&C based potent jamming capability.
8. Buy land-based CX-1 cruise missile for supersonic capability.
9. Research & develop ADM-160 MALD -like decoy missiles.

And start developing Qausi Ballistic missiles like Iskander-M instead of wasting money on Abdali and ghaznavi.

No of indians proscribes by UN in that period for terrorism in pakistan - NIL

No of international terrorists caught in India during that period NIL (you know how many for pakistan)

No of un proscribed organisations openly operating in india - NIL. In pakistan- you know best
