My children are twin ( identical ) and they are starting reception class soon that's why got this letter about flu vaccine . they have this flu problems in winter mostly and they boht get sick at same time .No such issues when they are in Pakistan or during summer seasons .I think flu virals is more common in UKThere are many medicine which contain some form of alcohol, and they are allowed by Ulema if no other alternative is available to treat the disease.
Alcohol is Haraam as well..
Now the only complexity in your question is that can we take it as a preventative measure?
I believe yes, provided there is no other alternative, and if the children suffer a lot (and they do), however, I never give my children this vaccine, as my children only contract flu once in a year, and that too for only five days... and I want my children to develop the resistance by themselves..
Another friend of mine goes for it because his daughter suffers from flu and later it increases sinusitis symptom, so much so that she remains disturbed for months..
So it depends.. if you think your children only suffer once, and that too for five days.. it's better to avoid it.. But you have to ensure that your children do not give this to anyone else in the school, because you don't know whose case is complicated.. so keep your children strictly at home, until it is completely gone..
lol Taxi drivers have no option to refuse drunk people . I know many people who gave up taxi job because of trouble of drunk people or they have changed their shift pattern from night to morning.. You remind me this Afghani guy who used to sleep with every random drunk girls out there but used to mock those who were eating non halal chicken in MacDonald but well doing one wrong thing don't mean you should opt for another wrongYeh. They will drive half naked drunk slags inside taxis full of alcohol fumes that would give you a high/intoxicated from clubs and pubs then go cheat the government by pretending to be low income earners, then go smoke some weed. Then spit/cuss out of trhe taxi window like a savage. But then get constipated at some chemical trace element in a eye drop.
Wonders never seize ....
In the UK routine immunisation programme, there are three vaccines that contain porcine gelatine:If it's for medical purposes I don't think there should be an issue. But Priorix® doesn't have any porcine collagen and therefore would be halal and is available on the NHS, perhaps parents can choose this? Also the decision to vaccinate the child rests with the parent, if you don't want the pork based gelatin you can withhold consent. And NO, unlike what the surgery says in accordance with GDPR and HRA 1998, you don't have to give a reason as to why you wish to withhold consent.
• Fluenz Tetra® the nasal spray vaccine that protects children against flu,
• MMR VaxPro®, a vaccine that protects against measles, mumps and rubella
• Zostavax®, the vaccine that protects older adults against shingles.
NHS offer Fluenz Tetra® and I would see if I can get Priorix® privately from pharmacy
