Pope declares evolution and Big Bang theory are right and God isn’t ‘a magician with a magic wand

.
Muslims and Christians believe same in bang bang theory.
While there is a Vatican city and a pope to take care their religion.
We Muslims are orphans

....

There is a "magic wand" ability so to speak.. The laws are of the creator to alter so any alteration required can be carried out on the instant it is wished.

Are you implying "Mo-jazat" (miracles)? or something more serious.

.
So, what happened to the immaculate conception theory? Is that also going to be placed on the shelf ? :D

@seiko I am trolling Christianity here dude

Well he's thrown it into the dustbin (or at least started the process of). It is a very brave thing to do. I didn't expect them doing this actually.

What I am implying is that the concept of time(from which we essentially measure a magicians trick) does not have any implications for the creator. Hence the idea of time for a big bang or evolution as it means for us has little implications for the creator.

.
It requires lot of courage to admit truth ...I dont know whether big bang theory is right or wrong but he is certainly correct when he says there is no magic wand ...
Many religions glorified God to oversimplify evolution ..Its time for people to consider religious books as a source of information to lead a systematic life nothing more than that ..God being strong or not is dependent on individual and his virtue in life ..

.
This shows maturity of the catholic church! respect!

Not exactly.. the Vatican speaks for the Catholics but the Protestants and others do not abide or follow them. ..i.e. sects
The same way, while Mecca is taken as the site of pilgrimage. there is no common "Pope" to lead them because of similar Hanafi, Hanbli, Ja'afaria... etc sects

How good it could be, if we had a common leader and council for our Sunni sect or at least Hanafis.
It could help to stop extremism and misconception.

I liked some of the idea presented in this thread

Herein lies the problem. Why should there be a common leader in matters of "Deen"? Yes.. there may be a possibility to agree on the matters pertaining to worldly issues.. but what lies between you and the almighty should be your personal prerogative.
