Honestly, each of these tigers are facing with some seriously strange issues right now and none of them have any appetite for military conflict; especially not with each other.

Russia showed the world that when push comes to shove in Syria, they can take challenges head on and overcome them. Sanctions, restrictions, expulsion from G8, attempted isolation; everything was thrown at it. And yet, it is resilient.

I think Russia has the real raw power among these, while US and China slug it out with each other on trade and economics.

Russia and China’s biggest problems are that both are economically reliant on the US and NATO countries. This makes them slow to react and reactionary.

A new superpower can only emerge if it is truly independent and is willing to take the initiative.

At best, US declines into a lesser power, while Russia and China remain Supra-regional powers still based on the same economic global system.

Since when is US independent off other countries?

Sure they can develop tech in some time, but that can be done by Russia and China.

No one is truly independent; it is a globalised world and the EU and US are as dependent for trade with its cheaper suppliers. Do you really think that after tasting such high profit margins, US companies would bring back their production? They'd rather replace Trump with someone else as president. Let's be realistic; large corporations and banks run America. Not the other way around.
