And why is that? What can Pakistan offer to Bangladesh, besides some marginal expertise in defence industry? What can Bangladesh offer to Pakistan?

At first as an official initiative for building MOU in different sectors in different levels between our countries, I would like to see visa free access between Bangladesh and Pakistan as a token of our brotherhood/brother-nation, and as a token that once we were one country, one nation.

The strong businessmen, intellectuals, bureaucrats, scientists, engineers, doctors, teachers and students can get visa free access facility for a certain period of time to stay and work on each other's country. The time period can be for 7, 15, 30 or 45 days for working and traveling.

I think that is how we will quickly know and understand each other better, forgetting the bitter past, and with having progress. I am 100% sure Pakistanis have something to share, learn and gain from Bangladesh and vice versa. We have brilliant students and prospects to share with PK. And we have political-military strategical and economical prospects together.

2) You have doubted Pak Srilanka cooperation in was against Tamils. Ask any srilankan for details. Our President has recently visited Srilanka. Srilanka is making defence and railway contracts with Pakistan.

The question is pointless - I don't think most Bangladeshis or Pakistanis would disagree on Pakistan and Bangladesh having friendly relations as nations.

A better thread/question would be to discuss ways and means of strengthening/improving the Pak-Bangladesh relationship.
