you cant simply disarm the whole fata, tell you what, our founder quaid e azam agreed to leave these people alone IF they became pakistanis

but tell you what the people of fata ill be thinking of getting independence after all the mess we are giving to them, these fata people never once harmed pakistan but we are hell bent on killing them, this must be point of concern for now

FATA is part of Pakistan is it not?
Are we advocating action against people of FATA or militants all over Pakistan?
Why then do you harp the same tune again and again.

Your assumption that people in FATA are happy with the militants roaming around are quite off the mark and similar to what people like you would have thought about Swat and its people being happy with the so called Shariat of terror.
The Tribal heads and Jirgas in FATA have been obliterated by suicide bombings and militant attacks.
To top it all even some drone strikes have targeted Jirgas so overall situation demands that we move in and cleanup here before the people of FATA think that this is their life forever.
The only way we can ensure that FATA is secure from external and internal attacks is by moving our army here to aid the people.
Will we lose our soldiers in this?
Yes indeed, however this will ensure we are on ground and shall enable us to deny any drone strikes in this area via a strong stance resulting from this symbolism.
It shall also protect the tribes from the Swat like grip which the terrorists have on the populace at the moment.

We should clearly declare to the entire world that our Army is in FATA to clean up terrorists and any crossing of border by any forces or drone strikes would be met with a military response!
This shall really end all excuses by many parties which are attempting to destabilize Pakistan.

No more nonsense about how can we disarm people of FATA...this is not the primary objective nor the cause of our action; that it shall eventually lead to a disarmed FATA is a strong possibility if we succeed in developing it in the long term

We are not after the tribes but the non state actors.
We should develop FATA and make it a province.
The people here should have access to better facilities.
Do you think they are retards that they would rather wield guns than study in schools and have a better future?
Once we clean up the militants and develop FATA the gun culture here will diminish.
No body is urging here to attack the tribes, however anyone who supports the terrorists and is willing to aid them has chosen his side, be it in FATA or Karachi or Lahore...

Our approach should be to target the militants anywhere and everywhere in Pakistan.
In this you are actually showing bias against FATA, by claiming that we should leave them alone to their fate since they are nothing better than gun wielding wild men and do not want a better future secure from terrorism and with better access to the facilities which are available to rest of Pakistan.
FATA is one of the most underdeveloped area and this nonsense has to end whereby any effort to change its status is met with an argument that they had an agreement with Quid e Azam.
In current scenario, FATA needs to be freed from terrorist infestation, uplifted and changed into a developed part of Pakistan.
Status quo is no more good enough and if we are to question even an intent to change the situation here, how can we ever get a positive result?

Just like in Swat, we need to aid the people in any part of Pakistan where a group i holding them hostage under any pretext.

And we should send list of BLA terrorists to our neighboring countries as well, since we are cleaning house.
Let us call their bluff if they are bluffing indeed and if they cooperate, well good for all of us!
Let us define a clear cut policy to segregate friend from foe.
No more half hearted attempts which are a product of an unsure stance.
