Police Station in Wana Overwhelmed by a Cross-Border TTP Attack

When a deranged populist starts hurling titles like Mir Jafar and Mir Sadaq whilst promoting tribalism through Ertugul and Warrior race mantra, the steady stream of recruits will only gather momentum.
Cult of Kakul is in for a rude awakening. They can only sell their mother for so much. The buyer asks more, the mother can't give! Maa bech di agay kia becho ge!

All terrorists are not coming from across the borders. Local deobandi pathans have soft corners for taliban and they are facilitating the taliban here. Sufi Muhammad's large gatherings were Pakistani people. Deobandi seminaries even in Punjab and Sindh are famous for giving refuge to taliban during Mush era and even now. This war is more complex then the diagnose capability of PDF members. Everyone is looking this matter with their narrow frame of reference.

Imran and Faiz have reversed the progress we have made after Zarb e Azb and other operations. Indians are happily supporting all the insurgency on all social media platforms without restrictions from twitter or facebook. This war will get more bloodier in the coming days!

As I said once before, India doesn’t needs its Military to weaken Pakistan, It’s done free by Pakistanis.
and IMMI THE DIM,s has achieved it single handed...the seeds n weeds he has sowed, will reap in another 5 yrs, WATCH THEN < what remains^>

Why'd they dispatch regular police ? Where were the SSG etc ?
in zaman park, protecting , the porky

Pakistan army should have sealed the border

Is it possible to seal off a zillion mile long border spread over really difficult terrain. I am not great fan of the Pak Fauj, but it seems to be a next to impossible task.

First Chaman, then Bannu and now Wana.
Is the situation so hopeless that the terrorists were able to come in 20kms inside Pak territory, across the fence with Heavy MGs and RPGs, undetected; initiate an intense firefight in which the police surrendered and the terrorists easily looted the armoury? And throughout this attack no QRF reached and even more so, the terrorists were able to exfiltrate.
I think we should stop calling these incidents as just a terrorist attack and instead label them as "Surgical Strikes". At this pace India doesn't need to do anything on the eastern front.

If the Taliban’s level of reliance on Pakistan doesn’t change, two factors will be key to their medium-term position on the TTP. One is the Taliban’s internal politics. There is a reservoir of support for the TTP, both for its own contributions to the Taliban’s insurgency as well as for its anti-Pakistan politics. A faction of the Taliban which appears to have stepped up its support for the TTP and wants to shield it from Pakistan is the Kandahari Taliban leadership, including Taliban Defense Minister Mullah Yaqub. The extent to which this constituency will offset Haqqani’s preference for working with Pakistan is crucial.
