Police Station in Wana Overwhelmed by a Cross-Border TTP Attack

This is the result of poor leadership both civilian and military. The current regime are overly incompetent. You need an iron hand to deal with this without flinching.

From where does one get the man power to send for repeated attacks ?

@FuturePAF
They are probably recruiting locally (from amongst criminal elements or those at risk of becoming criminals) as well as from over the border.

Youth without work or those working for the smuggling networks. They could be offering a high wage then could be earned any other way. mapping this human terrain is a crucial part of identifying the whole operation.

Also why the economy needs to be ramped up in there areas ASAP, but with a clear indication that anyone that takes part in these criminal activities will not be given an amnesty down the road and will not be able to get a job in any new project.

Teray gher AA gya na to Teri ghairat ka janaza Nikal jayee ga bc ...

Tameez say baat ker mc
You’re so ghairatmand then go join KPK police and show your bravery. Go to South Waziristan the hub of terrorists and fight while being heavily outnumbered and outgunned.

Don’t even dare speak ill about KPK police jawans especially from waziristan who risk their everything to fight for Pakistan.

You don’t even have 1% of their bravery. Learn to respect them. Your coward a*s probably in dha enjoying all perks while you think you can criticize poorly equipped brave police. Show your tameez when you speak about such brave jawans and learn your place!

I’ve had enough of people criticizing the police for surrendering.
It was SIXITY HEAVILY ARMED TERRORISTS against LIGHTLY ARMED POLICE.

The question should be directed to army and FC. They have heavy weapons. They’re on the borders. They are deployed in tribal areas. Were they asleep? How could 60 terrorists gather and carry out the attack? Is ISI asleep? Where is QRF? We’re they asleep? Where is the troops on the border to guard the fence? Are they asleep? After the attack, was army asleep not to detect such a large concentration of terrorists with vehicles and heavy weapons? Police are for normal law and order situations. They aren’t meant to fight such heavily armed terrorists. Where is army which is suppose to fight threats to Pakistan?

It’s easy to put your incompetence on others.

Police in areas like waziristan they put everything on the line and join police. While establishment is busy with its experiments, these guys are assassinated on a daily with their families and it goes unreported. They are looked down upon by many people of their society. They are harassed and eventually killed. They get horrible pay and horrible equipment. Signing up for police in such areas is signing your death certificate.

Ye itny ziada terrorists itny routinely border cross kaisy Kar rahy Hy ?

KPK ki government incompetent hoge or CM b to Lahore beta Hy warna to ye border manage krna to KP government ki duty Hy ...

@Irfan Baloch , @Mrc

Exactly what was on my mind. It's all incompetence of KP govt. If the CM KPK was sitting on border, his farts alone would have been enough to deter any terrorists from afghan soil.

By the way, what happened to the border fences and check posts etc. on which we spent billions?

btw Footage in OP is few weeks old, I made a post about that when video first came out, which "احبابِ اختیار" can find in my deleted-despite-firm-mind posts

tweep INTELPSF is sharing that footage as recent
same INTEL guy who talks like teenagers "bom them bom them" on spaces (though claims to be doing PhD!) fired reentry vehicle on a mobile target too
So much for caliber of Jana_Shah & "کِیڑی" type connections that ISPR leaks the media through

Equipment like drone is not the only factor, the way USA operates or deals is on much complex scale wanting something in return for showing interest in not merely an act of generosity.

If the video is true, default seems to be a lesser problem. Also, Pakistan embraced Taliban as blood brother for over two decades for this?
And we bombed them along with our colonial masters before that, newton's third law...

My main point was that US themselves create terrorism, as you can see my DP also. And pretend to help you eradicate it.
I believe that US is still behind terrorism in Pakistan.

That's what I meant by "playing gods".
I have replied this earlier.

The big picture is still out there, which advances with changing circumstances.

3) Ethnic and ideological affiliations. If the southern US was composed almost entirely of actual Mexicans who shared the ideology of the cartels, things would get even worse over there.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Border towns are filled with Mexicans bro, look at Brownsville, Texas for example.

TTP Terrorists are very clever. They cross border when Pakistan border patrol in busy in fajar ki namaz
Aren't they amalgamated with-in Pakistani society ?

Money is there but the religious upbringing and using religion as a formidable tool to fuel hatred against Pakistan and Military.

You are literally unaware of how statistics work.

IF the ENTIRE BORDER AREA is populated by 90% of the SAME ETHNICITY following the SAME IDEOLOGY, then your point would stand.

Mexican influence in southern Texas and few other states is not the same thing as SE Afghanistan - FATA, which is more or less the same people through and through.

Police is normally tasked with the duty of maintaining law & order with unarmed civilian population.

Armed insurgency is managed by military & paramilitary forces with specialized equipments. What might be needed here is an approach similar to India - completely close the border with army & saturate the disturbed areas with paramilitary forces. Overtime (if intentions are genuine) then the population can be deradicalized & count of forces can be reduced. It's not an easy or quick process and will take enormous resources. However, this region does need a soft hand. They have suffered immensely & someone needs to give a normal life to the people so that they can come back to the mainstream.

They shouldn't be used as pawns in useless fight between nations.

The police couldn't do anything here. This is the job of the military 100%. It's a cross border raid and it seems the TTP has expanded from Chaman and is now targeting wana.
One can only wonder where the hordes of drones that the forces have are. Why there isn't a rapid retaliatory strike when these things occur and so forth.
