We need a cull of anyone who is loyal to a political party more than the country.

That is the major problem of Pakistan. their ego won't stop them from supporting a particular party even if it's against their own country. There is no sense of patriotism in us.Only war unites us.

This drugs business is itself whole new world and thinking that it's going on without involvement of official of agencies & ANF is living in fools paradise. There are many shady pharmaceutical companies whose medicines are neither popular nor easy to find on drugstores but when you see at their production and sales figures then there are only two logical answers (1) Their medicines are always short in market because of demand (2) They are inflating their production and sales figures. If honestly probed then it's not difficult to establish that they are inflating production and sales. Now why one should inflate sales figure and pay more tax, this is simple and straightforward
(a) Pharmaceutical business no matter how much profitable it is, drugs business is still many time more profitable - and it's icing on the cake is that money becomes white by giving some tax.
(b) The production & movement of materials like ephedrine, opium etc. is tightly monitored, tracked by batch numbers, producer, seller and end consumer (pharmaceutical company). So, the safest route is that procure it legally and show that you have produced medicine with it.


But bad luck for nifa podari that his smuggled out ephedrine was caught by authorities of foreign country from drug trafficker and by batch numbers it was established that it was imported by him, now he couldn't refuse it as all documentary proves were there and he couldn't produce sales document as nobody would agree to admit that they purchased as it's simply mean that hang me instead of him. The other blunder made by him was that he thought sticking with people who became security risk will save him. I am sure file for moosa gillani will be ready which is SOP of our agencies to blackmail.

If IK is honest with Pakistan then probing and investigation of pharma businesses and their beneficiaries should be one of his top priority - I guarantee you that you will forget Panama Papers.

Some decisions are not really straight forward and are complicated by nature.Yes even a blind can tell this ephedrine case was brought to life just to throw hanif abbasi away from politics and clearing the path for the upcoming government.But is it fair to let a narcotic smuggler contest in the general elections?Also law enforcement agencies were quite angry at hanif abbasi recently because he helped captain safdar escape from mansehra.
