Mansoor Ejaz is actually not a bad guy. He used to be very pro Pakistan especially during Musharraf era. Even his statements during memogate were Pakistan centric. The problem is the Pakistani state has failed to utilize the services of these very successful Pakistani-American community in bridging the gap with the DC community and selling the Pakistani narrative. Mansoor Ejaz is highly connected and sought after in Washington DC. Much more pull factor than any Indian in DC area but successive Pakistani governments have failed to utilize his talents. As a result, some have even taken a visible anti-Pakistan stances. Contrast this to the indian-American community. They are even more pro-India than the BJP. Another failure of Pakistani diplomacy.

You forgot the most important one...No talks with India unless Kashmir is discussed first.

As on zero role for India in Afghanistan, it is Pakistan's wish and not the reality. The reality is India is going to have much bigger role in Afghanistan than in the past.
