So please tell me full of sharam insaan that should this ceremony, if held, be financed from PM's own pocket?

I thought the argument had moral grounds didn't it? So what do you suggest should be done then? I have already suggested to use 300 Rs wala menu of daal and roti for all the guests but even that can be saved if the catering is handed over to Saylani.
But I just wanted to know that why didn't people "Dying with hunger" apply to your pocket and dinning?

Sir I am not defending anything but lets think about it with logic. I believe this dinner is in reference to Maritime Security conference held in Gwadar in regard to CPEC where foreign journalists and diplomats were invited from 25 nations of the world and were made aware of the progress about CPEC projects in hope that they will go back and write positive articles about CPEC and possibly attract foreign investment from friendly nations.

They all were possibly gathered in Quetta and later transported to Gwadar. Where would you like them to have a dinner? Local restaurants do not have the capacity to make arragement for 400 high profile guests all of a sudden so you usually book a venue. Since Serena is usually the preferred place, they will have booked for the whole day and arranged security to ensure no bad incident take place. You know typical marriage halls charges few hundred thousand rupees in Pakistan for only 3-4 hours of wedding so Serena being a 5 star hotel would have charged more for full day of service.

Then the quotation suggests they want to charge 5500 rupees per head which isn't too much considering a good restaurant around the major rivers of Pakistan charges 2500-4000 rupees per head depending on the menu. My post on page 1 explains my point of view on the topic and I think only the catering arrangement could have been cheaper

Lets see at the current exchange rate that is, carry the one, add the square root of -196.677, multiply by 5/7... about 33,000 USD.

No PM should ever spend that much on food in one sitting. I mean, that's my grocery bill for the week!! But gosh, even I don't go full Armstrong and spend that much on Pizza and ice cream in just a single day!

Military personal get the same so long as they've been in the service for a minimum number of years. My dad, a Brigadier General, is also a tax money leech.

yes . even he should pay back the money of trip he took his daughter to politically lunch him . all the money which was spend by Punjab government advertisement which is used to promote sharif family ... have u seen any money spend by KPK government with imran khan picture on it?

Total quotation( not the bill) for 350 guests from various nations in a 5star hotel is probably less than a DJ charges for those open air dance parties.
People of thar and palestine are always used for political gains. I don't think anyone ever goes there to help them on humanitarian motive.
