PM Nawaz to listen to public complaints on helpline

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will soon restart a helpline to directly listen to the complaints of people, Parliamentary Secretary of Interior Maryam Aurangzeb told Radio Pakistan on Monday.

Aurangzeb said implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) to counter terrorism is the foremost priority of the government to make the country a cradle of peace.

She added that the premier is himself overseeing the implementation of the NAP.

Answering a question, she said the government has no intention at this stage to restart issuing new arms licences. She pointed out that previous record of arms licenses is being corrected and digitised.

Responding to a question, she said a comprehensive bill has been prepared for facilitation of people with disabilities.

Aurangzeb said mobile SIMs verification is an important element of the NAP which will help improve security situation in the country. She urged people to get their SIMs verified soon.

Replying to a question, she said the government has no intention to shut or control madressahs. However, she said their registration is imperative.

The interior secretary further said notices have been issued to 53 unregistered madressahs in the federal capital.

She said registration of Afghan refugees is also being streamlined.

This isn't new. This idea belonged to Ayub Khan. Nawaz Sharief also established hotline in 1997 too during his second tenure...of course before your Naik was made...!!

So he made this thing in 1997 and now he is using it ??? even in his 2nd tenure he didnt implemented it and and its more than 1 year since his occupying the PM house and still he hasn't done anything.

I think he will start this helpline thing when he will solve the electricity problem in 2018

He implemented that already before his government was overthrown by group of gangsters wearing military uniforms, and after securing his seat back again in 2013, he established that hotline again...electricity shortages would be addressed in next 3 years...of course if some maniacs let him work, by avoiding musical concerts in Islamabad. Sit and watch tightly....!!

And i smell some cocaine here...trust me i voted for a technocrat in 2013...and irony is that pure feudal was the one who won 3 elections on PPP's platform, he thoroughly enjoyed the Musharaf's era as Federal Minister...and nowadays he is president of PTI Northern Punjab...you can guess the name yourself.....!! Secondly, i earn an honest living, and i am proud of myself, unlike those who live in airconditioned rooms, riding cars worth millions, and think that Pakistan is like what they actually believe so, or getting spoon fed by someone who went nuts after falling from the container...You guys will continuously day dreaming for your hallucinations, and keep on calling names until you shall learn how the system really works in democratic world.
