PM Khan To Launch ‘Digital Pakistan’ Campaign Today
The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Prime Minister House at 5 pm.

Today, Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch a Digital Pakistan campaign. Furthermore, under this campaign, government agencies will be made paperless.
The inauguration ceremony will take place at the PM House. This campaign will facilitate digital communication between government departments.

According to the details, the Ministry of Information Technology (MoIT) has executed the Digital Pakistan Campaign. The task of MoIT was to digitize correspondence between the government offices.
The IT ministry was given three months to complete the task.
The federal government has taken this step to make all government institutions paperless. Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, and many IT experts will attend the opening ceremony.
Senior PTI leader Jahangir Tareen, in September, announced that the government has engaged a senior former Google executive to help remodel its payment structure and set into motion the digitization initiative from PMO.
“She is leaving Google. In fact, she has left it and she is moving to Pakistan and will lead the digitization initiative from PMO,” Tareen had said.
The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Prime Minister House at 5 pm.
