After seeing the arguments in court and on TV, it all boils down to two things:

1- If the SC rules in favor of PDM, then everyone from now on will take the assembly proceedings and speaker rulings to court.

2- If the SC rules in favor of PTI/govt, then a speaker of any party can make up rules at the whim and dismiss a motion etc.

Both the arguments have their merit and demerits. For PDM, the argument that you cannot interfere in house business, but can interfere if a constitutional violation has taken place is valid IMO (I am not a lawyer).

For PTI, the argument that the speaker did not make up a rule at whim, and actually had something tangible in the form of the letter in front of him which served as proof, and made him sure that this was a conspiracy. Also valid.

So the SC does have a tough job here.
Punjab really needs 2 or 3 divisions. Punjab politics and the iron grip of Nawaz family is damaging the national fabric. And we all noticing now, how important is establishment meddling from back door "some time".

Because we are not Turkey.

This NCV would not have seen the light of day without their approval.

The fun fact is Nani admitted both things,
1) NCV can not come without establishment.
2) Meetings with foreigners especially nawaz sharif.

It was all for dollars.

( Time will tell but its looks exactly the same scenario like judiciary bailing out Isa because he was one of their own far above national integrity/consequences).

I hope I am wrong but each time I tell myself the same thing to my disappointment latter on.
We will have to cross that Rubicon at some point as Turkey did under Erdogan in order for things to move in the right direction and Pakistan to progress...

Otherwise the establishment will keep cultivating and patronizing these very same multi generational compromised and higly corruptable elements masquarading as politicians to perpetuate the status quo and we will be kept barely alive under hindu growth rate for the next century or until things truly fall apart.

IK or some other civilian who is not in the compromised camp would have to grab the bull by the horns soon than later.

It's time for that
Establishment walon ne to sindh ko kiray pe diya hai lootnay k liye

any authentic source for this?

Bro you are asking for proof of meeting ( just see Kashif abbasi show let alone a dozen other sources) 😂

Fact is,

Judges kay NSC minutes deekhnay say pehlay hi faisla out ho gya hai and circulated by sources after meetings were held with the traitors today and past few days.

I met a guy in Pakistan and he was Pakistani born overseas like me, He was doing Business in Pakistan.

He asked me what I thought of Pakistan. I replied that Pakistan is unique that it exists in two different times. 19th Century and the Current time(21st century).

He agreed, then we spoke further and he said something which I agree with. There needs to be a bloody revolution in the nation that will wipe out the dung and manure that prevails in society so brazenly.

some people cannot be reasoned with no matter what you bring and no matter how much truth you show them. Heck all The Prophets had to deal with it!

there is only one way to deal with these people and that is to surgically remove them because its the law of nature.

Only way. All else are mere details. Nonsense.

Only an entirely new structure, social contract, constitution, and reimagined roles for all institutions, especially the army.

And, like you said, full safaya of all the rot that currently exists. Zero tolerance.

Mere Bhai! Imran Khan came to change the dirty politics and yet he resorted to something so UNNCESSARY like the step his Speaker did. Pakistan's problems are rooted in the deviations from the Constitution starting from the late 1950s. If exceptions are allowed today then tomorrow Bilawal or Hamza Shahbaz or some other guy may also want that kind of illegal exceptions. And no, Imran Khan and his PTI could never forever remain in power. Study the history of Pakistan: Power has changed many times; it ain't no Saudi Arabia there.

Imran was going to win either way--the NCV failing or NCV succeeding. And I had said such before the Sunday rejection of the NCV by the Speaker. But Imran has lost not only the Constitutional argument but also the high moral ground by resorting to something which was not even necessary. Even by losing the NCV vote, Imran would have won. Did you guys really think the bunch of looters and opportunists from a dozen conflicting parties and pressure groups would hold on to power for the next 1 year against a revitalized and cleaned up PTI holding the high moral ground??
Let me say from the start I was and still not in favour of the path taken by PTI to deal with the threat of NCV , days before they adopted such approach, I opened a thread and listed the "Trump Cards" in IK's hands.

That included resigning from the NA seats.
Dissolution of the Parliaments in Punjab , at the time there was no NCV in Punjab, Buzdar could have easily dissolve the assembly by legal means.
Dissolution of Parliekment in KPK , Kashmir, and Norther Areas, all controlled by PTI.
And also PTI members resigning from Sind Assembly, making it also irrelevent.
If PTI has done all that , it would all be legal and would have rendered the remaining assemblies i,e. NA and Sind Assembly irrelevant and unworkable.
But IK wasn't advised properly and he went for the options he did. wrong advice and approach in my eyes.

The only reason going in to the favour of this approach was to stop the opposition holding the Parliament even for couple of days. They could have passed the laws to reverse Electoral Voting , overseas Pakistanis vote, and probably got rid of NAB too.

They could have achieved this with in couple of sesssions of NA. In the absence of PTI they would have only their members sitting in the NA thus making it easier for them to pass the laws.
Imran acted this way after legal advice just to stop the opposition. He wasn't bothered to lose the right to govern, as he has resigned himself. So holding on to the power wasn't his ambition or goal.
I hope SCP looks at it in the same light and do not order restoration of Status Quo , that would be a disaster for Pakistan, mark my words. The best option is to go for the elections and let the people decide. rather than opposition thugs or foreign powers.

Even if SC restores the status quo, couldn't PTI still resign en masse?

Off course they can, there is no law or constitutional restrain from resigning from your seat in the NA.
Thge only draw back is that the Opposition would continue and pass the laws to benefit them in next general elections. That's what IK and PTI wanted to avoid.
They had to go back to the options , i described. Those options were constitutionally safe options. But the problem is the delay has already caused problems in the Punjab Assembly so PTI got another huge problem to face. Which would have been avoided, before NCV Buzzdar could have easily dissolve Punjab Assembly legally.
