What erdogan has to do with this thread, Turkey is falling, moving away from secularism, it has become colony of erdogan, you try to oppose his policy in Facebook or Twitter, they will throw you in prison, there is completely ban on freedom of speech, thousands peaceful teachers in prison just for opposing Him, Turkey is messedup state, No country in world takes Turkey seriously but we will continue to support Turkey due to good old relation.

Good initiative by Imran Khan for clean and green Pakistan, but he can’t do alone, there is also responsibility of citizens to keep street clean , Karachi people throws garbage on streets in night everyday, majority is involved in this. Bad habit.
Need media compaign to create awareness. And government should introduce strict rules & fines for throwing garbage in street.

Watched in news that the Masjid which grant fatwa against electricity/gas theft will get free 400 unts. Now i dont know if its trure or another fake news. Also dont know if these are one time gift or per month thing.

Just like Metro Train/Bus cities need Trash Collecting System by Trucks

We have places like Bahria Town which are green and well planned

Similar approach is needed across remainder of cities

I have been to Greece and their villages are not that differant from ours. Small alleys, unplanned houses built along twisting streets but they attract millions of tourists. Their selling point? Being quaint and picturesque.

However unlike our villages they are clean, whitewashed and with residents to take pride in flowers and plants. This does not cost billions. Just tidy state of mind and some pride.

This is a big problem with Pakistani - even here in the UK! A lot of people don't decorate their gardens or homes with plants. It doesn't take a lot to be house proud.

Inside their walls will be decorated on every inch, outside they'll be rendered with concrete with no paint on it!

I noticed with Spain and France, they had local planning commitees that are very strict with how homes can look. I love the architectural differences in places like Mirpur AJK, but it's the 1% that isn't finished and polished that lets people down.

Alot of people don't see gardening as a activity for pass time , instead they feel only a gardener must do it and that is why folks do not spend time to plant a tree or grow garden even when they have lot of space around their homes

a) Roof top tons of space for plants
b) Around their property
c) Inside their Outdoor seating space

Advantage of gardening is you can make a small home look like million bucks

Also I think there is lack of various trees and plants which people can just buy and place on their roofs and create a nice relaxing environment to drink tea or enjoy the outdoor

All homes can grow their own Fresh Tomatoes even at roof garden
Very simple setup

Tbh our villages are more clean and green from what I’ve seen then cities. Only problem was that there is no waste management. And every other month they used to burn all the garbaje in one place. But no one throw garbaje in front of their houses/streets.

If Pakistan can ban/rid of plastic bags it will make huge difference. And in Pakistan you even have plastic bag mafia who put pressure on gov in the name of jobs.
