I don't want this thread to be about India. But I'll say just this: Indian democracy has had more time to grow than Pakistani democracy. There have been plenty of unstable Indian governments that have capsized in the last century. In the time of cold war, the Soviets are known to have had a lot of people around Indra. We did not have mobile camera and Twitter at that time to capture all that may have happened in early days of Indian democracy. Who can really claim that Indian politicians have never been under influence? Only major difference is that India does not allow dual citizenship unlike Pakistan. So it's leadership does not settle abroad to the same degree.
Pakistanis should give its democratic institutions time to mature at least to the point where Indian democracy as come to.. in terms of stability of the assembly.
