A better course of action is for Imran to call for snap elections. What is stopping him?

He can't do that after an NCV move is officially made. Imran Khan should have called the elections some months ago.
Elections are disruptive, expensive and have caused enormous chaos in Pakistan and even led to the breakup of Pakistan in 1971. ONLY in the last two decades the damn politicians have managed change of govts through regular election cycles and tolerated opposition parties ruling other provinces for long periods. So, short of the next elections in 2023, a change of govt through an NCV is the next best option.

In his speech IK has clearly stated that there are two powers that are keeping Pakistan united, the Army and PTI.
PTI in the sense that it's a National Party just like PPP was under the leadership of BB.
Hence No differences with the Army.

The NCV maybe a fraud but asking for protests, which have the potential to turn violent, shows Imran Khan hasn't changed from his 2014 Dharnas mentality. It is also a stupid political move: The best course would be to accept the NCV results, become a political martyr, and fight another day. The opposition is not much more than a nasty mix of opportunists and people will reject them in the next elections. Imran Khan is signaling that he doesn't accept change of govt through constitutional provisions and also resorting to uncalled-for brinkmanship in international relations which could have massive consequences for Pakistan's economy. Imran Khan is making the wrong moves!

No-confidence Motion - MNAs will be bought to switch side and Judiciary will put the stamp of approval

Resign - Not only PMIK will lose power but will dent his image too

Fresh Elections - will be rigged to defeat PMIK.


The only option is for PMIK and his supporters is to go for a Green revolution to purge anti-national forces in the Establishment, Judiciary and Polity

Pakistan needs a PMIK long march where they purge the anti-national forces village by village, town by town, City by City, Province by Province.

There is no other way out of this situation.
