Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that he will take action against the Capital Development Authority’s “corrupt mafia”.

The prime minister was given a report on the 10-year performance of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

“I will not tolerate corrupt elements in the CDA,” he said. He also directed the relevant authorities to solve the water crisis in Islamabad.

And limit there salaries, people are getting 10 Lakhs, 20 Lakhs. Limit this to 3 lakh maximum. We can't afford to allow king style life. We are not rich Country like Saudi Arabia

Islamabad has always had the potential to be a world class tier city, but due to past governments lack of interest and CDA's own incompetancy coupled with unrestrained corruption, Islamabad has taken a plunge backwards. A lot has to be done to restore Islamabad back to its glory days, but expelling all Afghans out would be the apposite start, apart from many legal complications, gang activities, their contacts with Afghanistan bring dire security risks to the heart of Pakistan.
