PM IK, why for 700 years all the top scientists in the world were Muslims

Learn about Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and his movement.

I know, but I'm sure you don't know that his approach was a stop gap or ad hoc solution (I'm sure you won't understand these terms but I can't dumb it down enough for likes of you) suggested by a slave who wished his faith-fellows to keep up with rest of the population as their original education system had been purposefully destroyed (nicely explained by Hon. PM of Pakistan but clearly you couldn't comprehend). Desperate measures for the desperate situations/times.

That system was never meant for an independent and sovereign Islamic country. So kiddo please learn the stuff because I neither like to spoon feed you or expose your ignorance. Please come prepared next time.

The British and western education system comes from the Islamic world. We built the first University, hospital etc. The only problem with the western education system is that it is very liberal and controlled to be a pro west and liberal mindset. We need to keep the same Pakistani education system but add Pakistan and Islamic ideology in it, teach our children values, respect, morals, love for parents, neighbours, nation, teach them the importance of reading and research, teach them islamic history, our conquests, science, maths, technology etc. It will take decades just to build the foundations and Pakistanis liberals will commit suicide over this.

A critical mindset is very important. Alot of people who have high level of education are still very close minded. It's either humans over all have gone stupid or something is wrong with the education system. My opinion is people need to learn the tools/skills in order to do a research, we as a nation should have the mindset and skills to know from a young age on how to make our nation great and work to build our society.

Evil, cunning and patwari mentality is not good for the nation

i think western education system is no only solution,countries like china,korea,japan and russia have their own type of education system and have produced very skilled capable professionals so we can also develop our own capable education based on Islamic values and can compete with world.Major problem is corruption and lack of budget in education system as well as non progressive approach to learn new skills with changing times and lack of focus on research while limiting focus on obtaining particular degree or certificate for particular status or job

I am concerned about this move. On paper it is an excellent idea. All across our country kids should get the same education. My concerns are this;

1. What will be the content of the new curriculum?
2. How will it be delivered?
3. What will be done to reduce the gap in the quality of the schools delivering this curriculum.

For example, in our part of AJK science was taught from the textbook, not from science labs. I'm sure some of you guys went to excellent private schools or well run state schools which do have science labs. What will be done about the schools that don't have labs? Who don't have teachers who know how to demonstrate the experiments?

I want to see programming taught, but we don't have teachers who know how to program. How will this skills gap be filled?

He wants the madrasas teaching the same stuff - brillaint idea, but do they have qualified teachers?

How will a uniform curriculum impact ghost schools?

=======

I don't want to see education as a gimmick - i want to see deep root and branch reform and heavy investment.
