They( But now lets see who will win because Musharaf surendered in front of These Traders now will se what Khan will do.

Yeah I remember those days, it was almost one month strike before Musharraf surrendered. ----- The reasons for failure were the typical ones:
High tax rates, complicated taxation law, haram khors in fbr. ------- if the legendary Khan wants to win, fix the system (which he ain't ready to do), otherwise his fate will be no different to Musharraf.

You are totally right .
I should have reported them. But I didn't.
As most of the people don't .
But again they are the first ones to stand in long lines in current amnesty scheme to pay their due tax due to the fear of the government .
Still they are not paying enough tax that they should but still due to the fear they are paying some. Specially tax on their property and houses and wealth etc .
They are the type of the family that keeps their money at home and not use banks .
So again shopping on 50,000 or more would require their I. d card another feat of this government and their expense would be recorded in their I. d Add and they have to pay the tax next year on that too .
You cannot be like that you go to chenone and buy bedsheets worth 1 to 2 laks a day and no one would ask you for tax.
So basically that's how government coax the payers . By show stick and giving carrot.
Some idealist will think that the tax system can be reformed in a day or country can be reformed in a day .
It won't .
These small steps towards reforms would ad up .
We are a young country . We have to go through the process which other countries have gone through . We have to evolve and not hope for a manic wand .

Basically it’s upto law enforcement and military. Because they too have retirees and good ol boys who engage in same practices.

It’s essentially an open introspection of whether Pakistanis are inherently corrupt people who should not be engaged in business or employed or there js some hope for changes.

Going after small-medium traders will give you nothing.--- The problem lies somewhere else which your PM isn't ready to talk about.--- Does he have the courage to go after the elite class --- Why not start from Generals, Judges, Media persons, bureaucrats, Big traders ,waderas etc., ???

The Prime Minister undoubtedly highlighted the dilemma faced by Pakistan. He has not talked about the members of mighty militro-judicial-civil complex who enjoy unprecedented tax-free perks and perquisites as well as majority of parliamentarians who cannot justify the means of their lavish lifestyle. The worthy Prime Minister should start the process of tax accountability from the parliamentarians and members of militro-judicial-civil complex.

You see no action as he is not inaugurating mega projects. He is doing long term reforms. Like FBR. We are a nation of tamaash-been. we want to see spectacular visuals. Quick projects like Metro. That when we feel its development. Its not! Its going in debt. Have patience. Things will turnaround.

It's not about IK or the traders, Pakistan must win.

Instead of dealing with all the traders at once, government should start arresting the main ones from each major market of the country, do speed trials on tax evasion and punish them for 15/20 years in jail. Together even dogs can take down a lion, they should be dealt individually. it won't take long for them to fall in line.

Total military budget is $12 billion. Pakistan debt servicing is much higher than this. So where is corruption and who should be nabbed first? Military or politicians who amassed wealth at nation's expense. Zardari and Sharif combined must have more than $12 billion looted from this country.

This country are run by mafias, --- politicians mafia, establishment mafia, judiciary mafia, lawyers mafia, Media mafia, waderas mafia and the list is long - --
