In case of the Muhajirs from India, Bangladesh has already granted them to take BD citizenship and only now after a few years your govt is following our example. It is giving citizenship to the Karachi Bengali. So, you are reciprocating our goodwill. But, better late than never.

Look at the picture of Geneva Camp in Muhammadpur. Do you think this is a Karachi slum? No, it is not. The Muhajirs are living there perfectly well and without paying a paisa as stated by @Michael Corleone. They do not even want to pay the electricity and water bills.
