It wasn't possible as Republic of India was a reality where people don't get discriminated at ethnic and religious lines by the state. Also as you might already have noticed in this forum, a large chunk of Bangladeshis prefer their religious identity over aboriginal one.

By help, I didn't mean harbouring organizations which kill civilians, no Mukti Bahini wasn't accused of civilian deaths.

Some says Mukti Bahini killed near about 4 to 5 thousand members of Peace Commitee while the liberation was going on. Many more were killed after the liberation war. It includes many govt officials, politicians, teachers, religious people, pheers etc. In the true sense it was hooligan like situation There was hardly any family which were not affected. Even many daughters of collobarator families were raped silently in their houses. Even the parent knows what's going on inside the house. What about the killing of Beharees near about 3/4 lacs. What about the killing of West Pakistani civil people with their families, civil servants, employees in the factories, phatan guards. Since most of the factories belonged to the West Pakistani so many remained inside till the last. Who killed them ? Rather I would say many of them even saved by the Indian Armies. Had Indian armies not entered in liberated Bangladesh there would have been much more killing ? All these are facts and untold stories. Nobody is "Farista" in Bangladesh.

There was no separate refugee camps. Hindus and Muslims stayed together.

I never said Biharis weren't killed, however Mukti Bahini wasn't behind those incidents. Those were more of reciprocative actions by Bengalis. Mukti Bahini was nowhere near those people to kill them, they were busy fighting guerrilla warfare in against PA.

@ "Amar Sonar Bangla" was written by Tagore in between 1906 to 1911 after the British divided Bengal in two provinces East Bengal and West Bengal.

@ Tagore's aim was to re-unite the greater Bengal and soon he was successful in 1911 once the partition of Bengal was annullted.

@ After the Liberation of Bangladesh we intentionally kept it as our national anthum with the hope that people like Abir of West Bengal will sometime will come and join with us and then the slogan greater "Joy Bangla" will come into effect.

@ What Tagore forsee 100 years back, will soon come to effect if not in this century. So, about the great saying,"What Bengal thinks today ! India thinks tomorrow".

* It seems you are very happy. I have just told the fact. Infact the Bengalee Hindus inside AL are very eager to merge with West Bengal without realising the historical facts.

* I find you have a good knowledge about the complex history of Bengal. In one of your post you wrote something in Bengalee. Have you ever being in the then East Pakistan or your parents ?

* Your idea about Bengalee people are completely wrong. Yes, it is true that most of us addicted towards AL in the past without realising the truth. Who knows that Indian RAW had such a big hand. Once the third world countries were tilting towards Socialism in the 60/70s so our young generation also tilted towards in that line. The same mistake was done by the Bhutto also.

@ In the true sense those who brought Pakistan and believed on "Two Nation Theory" were all isolated from the political field of Pakistan both in East and West Pakistan in the 60/70s. In those days there were a bitter relation between Council and Convention Muslim Leaque. The other rightist political parties were divided.

@ And the most important thing was that Yahya himself did not wanted that ML should come to power. Pakistan was all most isolated in the international political arena. The only friend was China and the Muslim world. There were lot of pressure from China also. The Pakistan Army was pro-American, Pakistan foreign policy was pro-China, attitude was Islamic oriented and so on.

Have you ever seen a railway line. I am sure you have seen it since you have a long railway track from Karachi to Peshawar and unless you belongs to Wazirsitan or some where else. Now, if you stand in between a railway track you will see these two lines never joins together and if some how it joins the railway will not run similarly the Bengalee Muslims and Bengalee Hindus are the same line who never joins together. We have a bitter experiences for about more than 350 years. History is the great witness. Now, if somebody denies the history I have nothing to say.

actually i am feeling pity over frustrated bangalise , sorry it may be hurting but through out this threat i have found you people frustrated and even more scornful then your indian dadise.......................... it was revolt by you people and you were successful. in it many of your men and many of ours died. we suffered more but you people are still weeping and reality is most of your figures are biased and nothing more than a drama to earn sympathy. we need no forgiveness from you people. we considered you brothers and treated you like brothers even after division but it were you who are still filled with prejudice and venom for us. i am not saying all of you but many of you. sorry if any one mind but that is what i observed.

^^^sorry, you have lost a war and we are not frustrated over it. Some may be but 95% is not. The Forgiveness thing is the GOV's point of view. Not ours as most of the people don't give damn 'bout what happened in the past. They are proud of their country.
