What's new

Plea to try 195 Pakistani soldiers rejected

@ Your soldiers had taken those looking glasses and basins as because you people never saw those foreign items before 1971. All those basins and glasses were made in UK ,Belgiem,USA and Japan. These items were banned in India.

@ Your soldiers took these foreign made looking glasses to gave as gift to their wifes.

@ What standard you people had before 1971 ?

They still have the same standards whats new you see there?? dont you see BSF taking bribes from Bangladeshis and when they dont pay they they are killed at border

.
:

@ So far I heard those Indian supplied weapons were later sold to some African countries by Ershad in late eighties.

Earlier Sri Lankan army refused to get those weapons from India saying they dont fire .

.
@ What standard you people had before 1971 ?

Same as Bangladeshis had, a few affluent people isn't a measure of standard of living in a country.

And those Belgian looking glass and fancy basins were there in every household of Calcutta.

.
And how does that contradict 'Amar Sonar Bangla'?

Bismillah, amar Sonar Bangla, sounds cool. ;)

Anyway if any Bangladeshi feels offended by word in constituion, then it's the distress of Bangladeshis like Iajduni, not us. ;)

@ "Amar Sonar Bangla" was written by Tagore in between 1906 to 1911 after the British divided Bengal in two provinces East Bengal and West Bengal.

@ Tagore's aim was to re-unite the greater Bengal and soon he was successful in 1911 once the partition of Bengal was annullted.

@ After the Liberation of Bangladesh we intentionally kept it as our national anthum with the hope that people like Abir of West Bengal will sometime will come and join with us and then the slogan greater "Joy Bangla" will come into effect.

@ What Tagore forsee 100 years back, will soon come to effect if not in this century. So, about the great saying,"What Bengal thinks today ! India thinks tomorrow".

Okay some army troopers may have taken some fancy looking glass, so what now? You want looking glass then ask India to buy some for you!

.

Yes those are end-user relative, they only fire when the recipients are Pakistanis!

Rest assured when they fire, they fire good. ;)

@ It was not only fancy glasses, besides the Pakistani Armaments your soldiers took all foreign made items like I told you earlier also all foreign made projector machine from the cinema halls. For all most a year we could not enjoy the movies in 1972. They took the jute and textile machine from the factories. Even furnitures from the schools and colleges and offices.

@ In many cities in the name of curfew many shops were looted. In Khulna district once these looted items were taken towards India the DC of khulna and the Sector Commander Major Jalil objected it and he even fired upon. Soon Maj Jalil was caught and taken as prisoner to India. The poor DC was dismissed from the service after being bitten severely. Maj Jalil was later Court Martialled.

@ You know Jana, once AL govt came to power back in 1996-2001, India sold 1000 pieces of Ambassador Texi Car(Made in India). It was so ugly looking in Dhaka city which cannot be expressed in words. It was a junk. Does Indian people knows that we had been using all German and Japanese made cars since 1947 ? Do they know the teste of our people ? These Ambassador Cars were absolute long time ago even in India itself.

Yes when the end-user is Indian created Terrorists like LTTE these weapons surely dont fire ;)

and rest assure your days of LTTE terrorism are over with help of Pakistan and rest assure Sri Lankans are not Indians who will carry state terrorism against Pakistan.

And also rest assure your days of using Bangladeshis for terrorism against others are also over.

@ In those Pakistani times there was one advatisement in the radio and TV, "Habib bank, mera bank(husband), mera bank(wife), mera vitu hai(jana)" . Similarly we also played a great role in training many Sri Lankon officers in our country. So I can also proudly say, "mera vitu hai".

.
Wow, all bangladesh threads reach a very high level of intellectual height!

The usual dalal, mushrik, hindooo rants are fine, but Belgian basins!!! LOL

Ok army took projectors, what they did with it? Opened Cinema halls? But hey we had bollywood and Uttam Kumar/Suchitra Sen. How did people of India watch movies before stealing projectors from Bangladesh? :/

Did they have Jute industry in East Pakistan? East Pakistan was more of a source of raw jutes for industries in West Bengal.

Give me a detailed, neutral account of the incident.
