Plan to assassinate Zardari revealed

relax buddy, i just wanted to say that he is not a fool.:toast_sign:

Alright... He is not a fool, then what does that makes you?

People have selected Zardari and the people shall suffer.. so we are suffering..

Nice work by the Agencies, we dont need another false shaheed.

i think Security agencies have done a real good job.and they really need appricaition for the arrests for these monsters.

As far as Mr Asif Zardari is concerned dont take him as a person .Take him as a President of Pakistan as sum has already mentioned .He is the president and if anything happens to him It will directly affect Pakistan. No matter he is corrupt or not .

Right Now what we all need is to do is stay united coz
United we Stand Divided we Fall.

he fooled bcoz of his economic might. but he didnot fool his own people, by the way he was elected by americans. bocz of him, they now hav the second largest reserves of oil. while here the case is totally different. do i make myself clear????

:p:P and shows how wise they are :P

I find nawaz and lot much more dangerous to Pakistan than zardari even tough i hate both of these parties, the damage that nawaz and lot has planned for Pakistan would be humongous compared to what zardari is doing even though ppp-zardari is doing hell lot of damage.

ok let's see here!! PAKISTAN DEBT DOUBLED IN 2 YEARS!!!! BLOODY 2 YEARS THEY TOOK IT FROM $34BILLION TO $54 BILLION!!

CORRUPTION IS RAMPANT! INFLATION IS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH!!! & YET PEOPLE THINK ZARDARI IS THE "BEST" WE CAN DO WITH CURRENTLY!! :hitwall:

why isn't the army moving in for a coup!! it did coups when the nation didn't want them for once we need a steady hand at the helm!! for once we need someone to control this BLOODY JOKER (FROM BATMAN)!!!

zardari has held a nation hostage!!

no reason to feel happy that a traitor is heading a country. be constructive in ur discussion. sarcasm won't do any good. :pdf:

If you don't have the depth to comment on the greater strategic scheme of things in Pakistan and just post hapless one liners followed by smilies. Please refrain from flaming, because it just goes to show your intentions here.

Now back to the topic, there is considerable evidence that certain elements are supporting the operations in Paunjab, this is not just about Choti Tind and Bari Tind... This is something far more devious and cataclysmic in nature.

Remember how this present government came into power, the hands that were stomped? The internal strife? There is a lot more to this than just some opposition.

Thank god the plan was foiled, what Pakistan needs for the moment is a stable government, the enemies of Pakistan know this and will try their best to weaken the foundations during this delicate time in the nations history.

Ahhh so Now will Rehman Malik for sake of Zardari if not for heaven's sake, start an operation against militants in Punjab ????????
Jana - the situation in Punjab is not yet at the level of what we saw in FATA and Swat, so launching 'military operations' of the kind we see in FATA and Swat makes little sense. The militants in Punjab are not (not yet at least) out patrolling in pickups and taking over districts.

The problem in Punjab is somewhat at the level of Swat (currently) and Peshawar, where there is a need for local law enforcement to step in and start cracking down with the cooperation of the public, since the militants are no longer active overtly. The only reason the Army is still in Swat is because of the territorial challenges (forests and mountains) that provide a natural sanctuary for militants to hide in and make it harder for regular LEA's to operate in, along with the lethargic pace of the civilian government to restore local government services, especially law enforcement.

There is a need to not get carried away with emotions and resort to arguments of 'it happened in X so it should also happen in Y'. One needs to understand the dynamics in FATA and Swat that necessitated military operations, and whether those dynamics exist in Punjab and what the optimum means of addressing them are. Trying to turn this into a case of 'provincialism' is a disservice to the nation and does not in any way help resolve the problem.

why isn't the army moving in for a coup!!

Because it is unconstitutional, and without continuity in the political system democracy and democratic institutions will never evolve.

Its simple, when the next elections come around, don't vote for guys like Dasti, Zardari and Nawaz, and campaign with your family and friends to convince as many people as possible to also reject them.

We have a system under which an informed electorate can make the right decisions - the job before us is to make that electorate 'informed', not call for 'military coups' and 'revolutions'.

Because it is unconstitutional, and without continuity in the political system democracy and democratic institutions will never evolve.

Very well said AM... We really need to move out of the doldrums and into a progressive world.

Are elections any closer ??

Every day that goes by is a day closer to the elections :P

Not too many great choices though in terms of national political parties. Independents and smaller parties like that of Musharraf might be the way to go.
