Plan ready, army will take action when time comes: Ex IA Chief Gen. VK Singh on Gilgit-Baltistan

I didn't understand this part. So you're saying that the cannon fodder is not useful for Indian armed forces in such a situation? No, that's not how it works.
if you were one of the cannon fodders, would you stand a better chance of survival by facing Pakistan's barrage of fire that is guaranted to kill you or would you rather take your chances in shooting the indian soldiers and then making a run for your life? that is how it works...
As I said, it's always about the stakes involved. For the US, Afghanistan was not that high-stake. Not worth it.
I don't think you realize (perhaps on purpose) how high the stakes were for the united states. it did not fight the longest & most expensive war in its history for nothing...its now leaving defeated cuz it has tried everything it could including the most powerful non-nuclear weapon but to no avail.
Indians are considering Kashmir as atoot ang. It's different. So comparing the two will be your own disadvantage.
Bluntly put...it is irrelevant as to what the indians consider Kashmir as. they can call it atoot ang or achoot bhang for all we or anyone else cares...the buck STOPS at the fact that when it comes to taking a bullet in the chest for saving this so called "atoot ang", most if not all indians would run away screaming "bhaarr may gaya india aur is ka atoot ang, apun nay kuttay ki maut nahi marna".
That's the textbook definition of overconfidence.
uhm, NO...the text book definition of overconfidence is thinking that you can fly in and PAF will just go run & hide only to find out that they got swarmed by PAF interceptors so fast that they dropped their payload in their under wears inside the aircrafts, opened the landing gears (which is a sign of surrender asking for mercy in military aviation), turning tail and high winding the hell outta there to save their lives.
All right bring it on then. Why don't you attack first, if you're all that confident? What's stopping you?
what makes you think we aren't? isn't the indian government & military always crying out loud about how Pakistan continues to "infiltrate" its "SSG bat teams" across the loc? the regular army will cross when the time is right.
Baatein....I only said that overconfidence is not good. You are the one that is dreaming up sequences.
I suggest that you tell your own government as an "neutral" indian...to stop with their baatein and put their money where their mouth is and try something. that is LITERALLY all that we want...just try something so we can repeat Feb 27th on steroids.

Bro, no one is debating that they are cowards. Magar woh chup ke waar karte hain. Like they did in 71. So we have to be careful from all sides.

There are radars, satellite imagery, AWACS, EW aircrafts. Chup ke war nahi hosakta ab.

Only proxy war can take place

India is known for pulling dirty tricks. All I'm saying is don't let overconfidence get the best of you.

Hah hah it's been real fun.

I have become PROXY WAR Consulatant for the Pakistanis.

Next time I will charge you guys if the advice you felt is good.

Enough for me this time, and this thread.
wow, this "neutral" sanghi I mean indian ran way real fast!!! anyways...have a look see, yeh haal hay hindustan kay liyay "yudh" kar nay vaalon ka...I can 90% guarantee that on the front lines, this guy and others like him will gladly turn their guns on other indian soldiers before fighting Pakistan...

Cannon fodder never realizes that it is cannon fodder until it is too late. Nobody willingly goes to embrace death. I

It gave up half-way, yes!

Fair enough. It looks like you are more ready to die compared to me (I value my life more). You made your point but that still doesn't explain why the Pakistan armed forces in those two regions are not vulnerable. Saying all Indian soldiers will run away at the first sight of bulletfire, screaming, is a baseless generalization. I wouldn't build a strategy around something frivolous like that.

I agree with you there. A lot of Indian military strategists really talk out of their ***. But, not ALL OF THEM. So you're making a terrible mistake by assuming everyone will run and hide. It's like you replaying 27 Feb, 2019 in shuffle mode continuously. That date is over now.

what makes you think we aren't? isn't the indian government & military always crying out loud about how Pakistan continues to "infiltrate" its "SSG bat teams" across the loc? the regular army will cross when the time is right.

Get inside Srinagar first. Then we can talk. Border skirmishes mean nothing. You have been trying for last 30 years. Yes there have been militants inside the valley and beyond. But no hint of a large scale incursion. There are 900,000 soldiers armed to their teeth, ready for action same as you.

You won't, because you simply can't. At least for now. I will not predict the future because I don't live in imagined world like you. I can assume that your army will gain more skills, and access.

I will. It's not like they are listening to me either. There are enough intelligent people in Indian government and armed forces (I'm not talking about Modi and company) who definitely have a strategy for such situations.

wow, this "neutral" sanghi I mean indian ran way real fast!!!

Look you seriously need to apologize for that comment. I am the complete opposite of a "Sanghi". I only left because I thought we were done. I have answered your queries.

You think arguing your repetitive points on a forum like this makes you a winner? I have been warned by moderators not to use personal abuse and received infractions for that.

You think everyone has time throughout the day to argue back and forth with you? I made my views abundantly clear.

I expect an apology to be provided by you.

1. Your an indian acting anti indian or "neutral" on a Pakistani defense forum so asking why it's a perfectly relevant & IMPORTANT question.
2. buddy, you do NOT tell the likes of ME to not cross the line.
3. you can report & ignore...THAT is irrelevant. In fact, it'll only raise doubts in the minds of the mods about you given your suspicious behaviour with regards to india...you could very well be a sanghi putting up a front...not like it hasn't happened before.

So watch it & tread carefully, I'm waaaaaaaay outta your league son.
He is just a sitting pigeon. Means no harm.

What is interesting is that once these people retire, they speak such unrealistic crap that you wonder what they did when they served.

I agree with an Indian for once

Cannon fodder never realizes that it is cannon fodder until it is too late. Nobody willingly goes to embrace death. I
what planet are you living on? anyone who is drafted & handed a gun knows RIGHT off the top that he is meant to be a cannon fodder!
It gave up half-way, yes!
wrong. they gave it everything they could...took 18 years to realize that they just can't win based on firepower and technology, they HAVE to win the hearts & minds of the afghans which is impossible for a nonmuslim power.

althought, I never said indian soldiers would run away (read my post again, I said indians in general with the context being that of a drafted cannon fodder being forced to fight) but as demoralized as the indian army is, I would not be surprised in the least bit if they did run away. As for Pakistan...let's just say we've learned of and mastered the 3rd option besides taking a bullet or running away...as general patton said, "why should I die when I can make the poor bastard on the other side die for his country". Gotta admit...we've become pretty successful at that with the ADDED bonus of almost the entire indian army now being stuck in the streets of kashmir leaving the international border nearly open & unprotected save a handful of bsf posts...let's face it, as it stands right now, it is open for Pakistan to roll across into rajasthan all the way up to amristar.

the date maybe over but the overconfident indian mindset that made that Feb 27th happen still prevails over india. and we know very well how would they try to remedy whatever mistakes they made...rest assured, their "remedies" have already been taken care of.

900k supposedly armed to the teeth who can't control an unarmed population nor lightly armed insurgents while fast getting casualties & demoralization. now WHY would we take the more expensive route with we are already killed india by a thousand cuts for pennies on the dollar? When the time is right, don't worry, we'll cross. ;)
You won't, because you simply can't. At least for now. I will not predict the future because I don't live in imagined world like you. I can assume that your army will gain more skills, and access.

I am fast starting to doubt the robustness & depth of intelligence in both the indian military establishment & civilian establishment; the laughable press conferences that the indian military held post Feb 27th only strengthened by views.

The indian army still takes that colonial rule of extreme disdain for rankers seriously even though they are both brown? :o:

OOO...somebody THINKS they won a debate on the Internet. Do you want a cheesy plastic medal?

While some of your points have merit, you're too blinded by your overconfidence to not see the flaws in your arguments. That's nothing I can cure, nor is it my problem.

You wouldn't be able to condescend to my face, "son." Be glad it's the Internet.

you would be very unpleasantly surprised. ;)

Have you noticed Pakistan never makes statements like plan is ready. We will do this . We will do that. Jahi hind. Bla bla bla. Indians love talking

Wasn't it Pravin Sawhney who said that India's biggest mistake is that it openly discloses its plan to take back Kashmir while China and Pakistan never openly disclose their plans?

One should never publicly reveal their intentions about taking back Kashmir, but this is exactly what India has done.

China and Pakistan never disclose their intentions
