Cannon fodder never realizes that it is cannon fodder until it is too late. Nobody willingly goes to embrace death. I
what planet are you living on? anyone who is drafted & handed a gun knows RIGHT off the top that he is meant to be a cannon fodder!
It gave up half-way, yes!
wrong. they gave it everything they could...took 18 years to realize that they just can't win based on firepower and technology, they HAVE to win the hearts & minds of the afghans which is impossible for a nonmuslim power.
Fair enough. It looks like you are more ready to die compared to me (I value my life more). You made your point but that still doesn't explain why the Pakistan armed forces in those two regions are not vulnerable. Saying all Indian soldiers will run away at the first sight of bulletfire, screaming, is a baseless generalization. I wouldn't build a strategy around something frivolous like that.
althought, I never said indian soldiers would run away (read my post again, I said indians in general with the context being that of a drafted cannon fodder being forced to fight) but as demoralized as the indian army is, I would not be surprised in the least bit if they did run away. As for Pakistan...let's just say we've learned of and mastered the 3rd option besides taking a bullet or running away...as general patton said, "why should I die when I can make the poor bastard on the other side die for his country". Gotta admit...we've become pretty successful at that with the ADDED bonus of almost the entire indian army now being stuck in the streets of kashmir leaving the international border nearly open & unprotected save a handful of bsf posts...let's face it, as it stands right now, it is open for Pakistan to roll across into rajasthan all the way up to amristar.
I agree with you there. A lot of Indian military strategists really talk out of their ***. But, not ALL OF THEM. So you're making a terrible mistake by assuming everyone will run and hide. It's like you replaying 27 Feb, 2019 in shuffle mode continuously. That date is over now.
the date maybe over but the overconfident indian mindset that made that Feb 27th happen still prevails over india. and we know very well how would they try to remedy whatever mistakes they made...rest assured, their "remedies" have already been taken care of.
Get inside Srinagar first. Then we can talk. Border skirmishes mean nothing. You have been trying for last 30 years. Yes there have been militants inside the valley and beyond. But no hint of a large scale incursion. There are 900,000 soldiers armed to their teeth, ready for action same as you.
900k supposedly armed to the teeth who can't control an unarmed population nor lightly armed insurgents while fast getting casualties & demoralization. now WHY would we take the more expensive route with we are already killed india by a thousand cuts for pennies on the dollar? When the time is right, don't worry, we'll cross.
You won't, because you simply can't. At least for now. I will not predict the future because I don't live in imagined world like you. I can assume that your army will gain more skills, and access.
son, we already are...
I will. It's not like they are listening to me either. There are enough intelligent people in Indian government and armed forces (I'm not talking about Modi and company) who definitely have a strategy for such situations.
I am fast starting to doubt the robustness & depth of intelligence in both the indian military establishment & civilian establishment; the laughable press conferences that the indian military held post Feb 27th only strengthened by views.
Look you seriously need to apologize for that comment. I am the complete opposite of a "Sanghi". I only left because I thought we were done. I have answered your queries.
You think arguing your repetitive points on a forum like this makes you a winner? I have been warned by moderators not to use personal abuse and received infractions for that.
You think everyone has time throughout the day to argue back and forth with you? I made my views abundantly clear.
I expect an apology to be provided by you.
I don't make apologies son.
