PLAAF shall stop using AL-31FN engine that endanger our plane. Stop using those spare left over AL-31FN. Throw them into the sea even it will waste hundred million of dollars. Spend billions to setup another Taihang production lines even it will cost overrun or over production. PLAAF cant go cheap when comes to propulsion system.Keep building ... crash can't stop us. U.S, Russia, China do the same thing.
Indeed, AL-31 engine is crap and Taihang engine is gold. Let me ask you one question, how many Taihang equipped plane has crashed so far? None.Oh well a really wise idea ! The USAF did the same right after the 11th F-16 crashed ... they waited for years and invested in another engine ...
So far we do not know anything: was it "again" an engine failure ? Or was it maybe a pilot error, was it a bird strike or something else ... we do not even know how the PLAAF - and here for the first time the PLANAF - reacts after such a crash, but to throw all engines away and wait for years until they could be replaced is surely not an option ...
You are really obsessed by that black and white idea that the WS-10 is pure gold and the AL-31 in any version simply BS.

LOL, blaming every accident to Russian faulty engine Specially by a Chinese, (as China is totally dependent on Russia for jet engines) is hilarious at bestIndeed, AL-31 engine is crap and Taihang engine is gold. Let me ask you one question, how many Taihang equipped plane has crashed so far? None.
Russian military industries has never reform and still use the old soviet era style for their production. What good quality can they produced?
China Army Paper Warns Of Lost Wars And Shame If No Reform
They are still many element of Jiang zemin legacy in PLA who still has the tendercy of worshiping foreign weapon stuff over local.
President Xi need to step up reform more quickly to weep out these old fart in PLA.

While indeed most of the crashes of J-10 are resulted from issues with this russian engine, I still blame WS-10 for its significantly delayed time frame. Anyways, WS-10 is finally coming!Well accident happen during development, nothing new, China is going good

You are outdated on your info. Chinese has gone on mass production of domestic engine but going cheap by trying to use up the left over of AL-31 engine.Well accident happen during development, nothing new, China is going good

Injected with what?? A life saving Drug or something??This time pilot is alive. Injection is successful.
I can see your desperation mate.. But it will take time to make the WS10 air Worthy.. But it will happen don't worry.. But adding in PAF fleet is a big doubtwhy j 10 crashed and pilot died?was ws 10 engine in the crashed aircraft? if yeas so change it,s engine.it is a very unique aircraft.i like it.please trace it,s fault and remove it
chines friend i want to see j 10b very soon in paf fleet.
my English is poor. sorry about that.Injected with what?? A life saving Drug or something??

Where Indian get Chinese WS-13 only 2000 hrs, from Indian media ? And China didn't import RD-33 from Russia, it's India Mig-29 China is RD-93 for JF-17 ... and China domestic engine for J-10 is WS-10A. Very funny India always make wrong the data about what China has, is that Indian always underestimate China like what u ever did in 1962 ? not good for India. What is the life expectancy of Chinese engines...
American engines General Electric F414 have 6000 hrs
Russian engines RD-33 around 4000 hrs
Chinese WS-13 only 2000 hrs... Chinese have sacrificed life expectancy of aero engines to un-economical levels to achieve higher thrust
