China got the license from Oerlikon in the late 80's, but what a bit reluctant to standardize on the new caliber due to logistic reason, preferring the already existing (but less effective) 25mm (based on Soviet naval cartridge).

It is very similar in appearance to the Oerlikon.

China has a huge number of different anti-aircraft guns of different calibers.
