Çığlıkara/Antalya, somehow I didn't heard about that place before, its a protected area( in name only), there is no settlement there and there hundreds or thousands of years old trees, as well as many animal species and freed horse herds.

Some examples of wild life

Common Chameleon, its found in the forests of Aegean and Mediterrenean regions, when I was a child, my father found one in the road and we took it for few months, must be like a torture for it :D I freed it in the little pine grove near our home, hope little bastard managed to live(Picture is not mine)

Brown Bear, these silly guys are pretty common at Black sea region and some parts of Eastern Anatolia, they're so common that residents are used to them, its said that they're also live at western anatolia but I never heard or saw.

Caracal(Karakulak), these beauties are mainly found at Mediterranean region, they're currently in danger since human settlements are shrinking their zones.

Lynx, mainly found at Mediterranean, Eastern and Northeastern region but sighted at many other regions as well, its also under same danger with Caracal

Mediterranean Monk Seal, these friendly underwater dogs are also endangered unfortunately, lives mainly at Aegean and Mediterranean coasts.

Fallow Deer, these guys main land is Anatolia, due to over hunting they almost went extinct but thankfully they're taken into protection and their number is flourishing again.

And lastly, Anatolian/Caucasian Leopard, presumed to be extinct due overhunting, last members are hunted few decades ago, it was too late for them to be taken into protection, some people claim its still exists but not proven yet.

In Antalya I saw a few dead baby sea turtles on a beach and when I went into the water you could actually see the Sea turtles swimming/eating from the sea floor, very cool experience. But when I went to a small shop to buy something they were actually selling harpoons(wtf), there were guys buying harpoons and some crappy flippers and swimming goggles and rushing to the water :cheesy:
