Buildings in Dhaka will not exceed 40 stories because of local soil conditions and cost of piling all the way down to bedrock.

Grameenphone House (Grameenphone is the largest cellphone provider in Bangladesh, part of Grameen Bank of Microcredit fame), This is a rather modern building in Bangladesh, LEED compliant and ecologically designed with Low-E glass and other very smart features to conserve electricity and water use....

Interior has interesting art and features...such as a display showing sign language

All the builders of this building have their birthplace names on display...even the simple masons

Walls are filled with political activist populist kitsch art inspired by auto rickshaw decorations - appropriate for a non-profit cellphone provider...
