LOL Signalian, you prompted a blast from the past
with that one :
Available in 2x4 and 4x4, with the appearance below,
you could remove the rear top, the front top, the doors
and, on the models with the spare inside, fold down the windshield.
One utilitarian line of colouring : white, sand, forest/army green
and a civilian splash of bright yellow, red, blue and orange.
Its construction couldn't be simpler which made maintenance easy
basic chassis ( great as flat bed ) and plastic
( flammable, yikes! ) body.

It was sold in Iran prior to the Revolution and in the US
where it was an icon of Californian beaches but in France
split between factions from Côte d'Azur to woods & farms
or "imported" by hippies and original types when in town.

Great first car as it was cheap, it would still be useful today
in poorer countries as a utility vehicle.

Citroën could offer the new version from last year ...
for city-dwellers as that one is electric. To make the old
one more eco-friendly, the body could switch away from
plastic to a composite made of a local fiber like say hemp
drowned in a resin compound.
Warn dress was of course compulsory in winter, what with
that flimsy cover/top but most Pakistanis are used to that.
