PIA has dubbed its new service 'premier', but passengers treat it like trash

When a service is based entirely on money this will be a the result..a premier service should have have some screening of potential clients...just like premier banks do..

if the service is really premior..manay ettihad and emirates consumers will take the travel on to PIA.

you are saying the airline would rather keep empty seats if they cant find eligible passenger that meets certain criteria for a specific day... no airline does that.
people will compare etihad and and emirates with pia premier, if the service is good they will definitely switch.

It is not the fault of PIA. It is the nation of uneducated literates who how to add 1 + 3 , count and read alphabets but their mind are bullet proof against any sort of education and manners.

The TSA bozos don't know anything, even if I should them my badge, it's easier and faster for me not to argue.....

Badge or no badge, you get through a much shorter precheck line, and without any of the pesky searches. Works like a charm!

It's unfortunate. But still, turning a profit is the most important thing.

Messes can be cleaned up. Losses can't.

Well it's the same for all countries form South Asia isn't it? The Indians and Bangladeshis heading to UK are also from the lowest socioeconomic strata of these countries.

The issue appears Isolated

They should check the seat number & Charge the person sitting there for cleaning expense and damage to property

Take the Picture as evidence & Mail to his Home Address. If paid by Credit card charge for damage to plane

Put a message in Bathroom , if Lotion and Soap is "STOLEN" Airline will check video surveillance to see who stole the item and contact Regional Police

Just announce it or give a pamphlet to passengers stealing plane property is "theft"

That should curb the stealing mentality


a) Accidental fall of meal in plane happens
b) Accidental fall of cola or coffee drink happens


But it should be up to Airline's discretion to report the Passenger and Charge them "a fine"

Process
1- Air-hostess or Steward, detects a passenger throwing food around , or children out of control
or Uncle eating food throwing around cola or chips

2- Crew politely asks the passengers their boarding card , records it. Confirms they are seated in seats which airline assigned them

3- Person is handed an envelope indicating Airline will place a charge on excessive "MESS"
around their seats $100-$500

4- Airline takes the name & address on record charges the credit card "Fine" for cleaning
Passengers who don't have credit card on record, sends them a Bill

5- If Bill is not paid , passenger is banned from future bookings
Airlines maintain information passengers


6- Other scenario : Passengers leave , Crew make a run around plane

  • Notice excessive damage
  • Records seat number/ Submits seat number to System / System tracks passenger
  • Crew takes a picture and submits the picture in system
  • FINE assigned to passenger Comes with mail / Or charged to credit card
  • Bill issued after passengers left


" If you book & live in Hotel , and you make excessive mess Hotel Charges you extra after you leave for cleaning "


In USA airlines charge $$ for Headphone access (disposable headphones)

Most US airlines do booking with :CREDIT CARD no cash, same is true for most hotels (Preferred means)


If there is a on board "Food stall or stand" Passengers should have vouchers , 1/2 to take to the person there to get snacks or other stuff

Just a little culture change is needed , PIA should enforce consent to charge fees from customers when they buy ticket that they will not involve in excessive garbage throwing and damaging the plane, at Air host's discretion $$ Fees will be charged for excessive garbage throwing

With that stated

Due to Turbulence and accidents food does sometimes get thrown on the ground but the passengers also have responsibility to not "THROW garbage around
