Any cooperation between India and China is a form of betrayal by China against its "all weather" ally Pakistan.

I don't think so because Pakistan do exercise and training with US and buy their weapons too, and US and China are military rivals. It may be beneficial for Pakistan if India go closer to China as US will not put pressure on Pakistan to make India Happy.
