If I have to describe a color then I have to imagine a color and by then most prolly my brain would pop up a picture or 2 some color.In short I cant describe a color unless I've seen it. Geee!!

Yes, and no, perhaps there are other flavors in sea water? Water has a unique flavor, our tongues a dedicated position for detecting it (along with the 5 normal flavors and umami, or the taste of teriyaki sauce). Salt is one component of sea water, but is it the overriding flavor, does animal part and plant matter contribute too?

You're doing good by just being here and to be fair these questions aren't too likely to be answered by anyone. How can we imagine a color we've never experienced? It's generally not possible.

Would you consider a man with a human brain and a non-biological body, a human? If yes or no, where do you draw the line? And why is it so arbitary?
I think my definition of human differs from others here.
To me anyone "born" to a human being is a human. Nothing artificially created would be a human ever, if I am forced to consider "it" a human then I'll call it artificial-human.
To me being a human being is not just about the brain or human intelligence, the human body which harbors it completes my definition of a human being. JMHO! :)

I discount no possibility in discussion like this. While current supercomputers and AI system lack the necessary processing, learning or thinking capacity, progress is being made. Will we arrive at such a point. I can no more predict 5 years than I can 5 minutes into the future, but I respect and hope for the possibility, let's hold the assumption that such a point will be arrived at.

Well let's say that this supercomputer, which it will have to be, is now capable of (theoretically) mirroring something which is intelligence. Whitehead’s conjecture, argues that fundamental events rather than fundamental particles are the building blocks of the Universe. This interpretation treats both the classic observer and the observed quantum system equally and therefore requires a reinterpretation of personal everyday experiences in quantum mechanical terms. This view, because it introduces metaphysical and epistemological principles does not conform to a strictly materialistic world view. Something which INHERENTLY cannot be computed. In other words non computational elements. Quantum computing cannot solve the logic arrays that true intelligence would require.

Depends on the percentage of artificial parts in a human body.
If say more than 60% of a human's organs 're replaced by artificial ones then I would call that person a robot.

Why 60%, so somebody who has 59% of his body replaced by artificial alternatives would be human in your eyes?

I just gave you an arbitrary number,the jist of it was that if most of the vital organs in the body of a human 're replaced then a human would turn into a robot.

My kinda thread.

Color has temperatures. Measured in Kelvin. There is a basis for it and it has psychological impact too, it is indeed one of the factors for the basis.

An unknown color would fit into the present scheme of temperature. The visual impact would, too.

These properties are fine, but what would the color look like? What's its hue, shade tin or value? Describing it in its wavelength form is good, but we can't visualize a wavelength or frequency interval as a number.

@Armstrong - I've got a question for you @levina @jhungary and @Jungibaaz

describe to me a color you've never seen before. After you do that describe to me the taste of salt without using the word or root salt. Remember, thirst inducing doesn't specifically pertain to salt and describing its chemical makeup or physical properties does assign a taste.

An interesting question. Perhaps, in their concentration states, each mind focusing on the other, both sides are too focused to create any thoughts of their own? Must I concentrate with all my might? perhaps I can read my own mind an another's at the same time. Or maybe we end up with a feedback loop of the same information.

translucency is generally recognized as the lack of color (like a glass window), so without another object imparting color upon water, it is translucent.

However, its intrinsic color is a very light turquoise blue due to waters weak absorption of the red wavelength.

A classic, the answer is easy to come by though.

First ask the always honest guardian this question "If I asked the other guardian which door leads to heaven, what would he tell me?". Answering correctly, as an honest guardian would do, he tells you the other guardian would lie and and point to the door leading to hell. Asking the other guardian would yield a similar result as the lying guardian would do the opposite of the honest guardian who would show you the door to heaven if asked.

In any even, you will have both guardians tell you which door leads to hell, thus offering you only one option to heaven.

Waters color isn't unknown. It has an intrinsically turquoises color, though it can become all manner of strange one if another color is imparted upon it.
