Peshawar-Karachi railway line to be upgraded

For some reason railway tracks have reduced in Pak over the years

Its because many of them are not needed anymore or at just simply outdated.

I talked about per station, I mean 400 passenger & express trains passes through just Vijaywada Junction.
When people don't have trains then they obviously prefer bus.
Why doubling before utilizing existing capacity?
I think it was a bad decision to discontinue electrified track, doubling will be good.

What are you talking about? We do have trains, Pakistan is building highways at much rapid pace and people prefer them over slow moving trains. Upgrading the speed of the trains will attract more people.

you must have 100s of track in order for 400 trains crossing thru a junction.
Pakistan has one track from Karachi to Rohri junction from there may be 10 or 12 tracks going in different direction. If they run 400 trains thru that junction could mean 90% empty wagons.
