Persian gulf or Arabian gulf?

All the 'west' can do is sow the seeds of hatred; but the Persians and Arabs are deliberately watering those seeds knowingly.
What can we do about it?

as Pakistanis - we should be the ones to point at them and tell them what they are doing is wrong. But its an old historic rivalry and due to ego and pride, they are still at it today.

so shame on them......those with vested interests to divide Muslims are laughing hysterically and enjoying every moment of it

I think the name should remain Persian Gulf. Ancient Archemeid empire was a great Naval power also all of the successor empires.

Even today, Iranian navy is stronger than all Arab navies.

You need to lay off the Vodka.

Egypt alone has a stronger Navy than Iran. Even the Saudis have more powerful warships than Iran.

And besides Iranian Navy suffered heavy damage during Operation Praying Mantis in 1988.

no because those Islands have always belonged to Iran only in 1921 Britain occupied it but in 1971 one day before their army leave Persian gulf ,our army attacked and without firing a single bullet we defeated occupying army and took those Islands back and sadly in that operation 3 of our brave soldiers have been martyred .

as a matter of fact this incident happen 2 day before a county called UAE appear on any map.
you see you if it was not for the defeat of Britain army by our brave soldiers that made them escape from the region must of arab countries in the region were still colonized by Britain .

Ladies and gentlemen that is comedy right there. Iran defeated the British for those three islands yet at the same time they were fighting Saudi Arabia side by side.
And lol yeah a lightning struck and UAE suddenly appeared before there was nothing there just Water and then BAM God said let there be UAE.

It started with an operation to keep the population under control after mass riots and unilateral declaration of independence.
Besides, neither were Bengalis 'ridiculed' or made of fun of; West Pakistanis simply had no idea that a war was even happening there. It was an era of strict Media censoring etc. Most channels used to be State controlled.

Turks and Persians used to dislike eachother back in times when Ottoman empire and Persian Empire (especially under Nader Shah) were having their regional rivalries

in more recent times - it was more a 1-sided thing.....Persians used to refer to Turks as ''Tork e khar'' because they used to see Turks as backwards people (which certainly doesnt apply today)

Persian nationalists and hardcore anti-Iran-anything Arabs (especially in the gulf) are 2 sides of the same coin. They are intolerant racists and are misguided. Worst is when they bring in sectarian elements to claim who is and who is not a Muslim. It's disgusting.


as for Pakistanis - we dont hate Bengalis. There's a bad history, but we've moved on. Pakistan has been much more mature about such issues. In the beginning yes we went on diplomatic offensive for OIC not to recognize B-desh but that was decades ago and since then we've moved on 100%

in fact there's more hatred among pro-indian STOOGE elements in B-desh towards Pakistan.... (awami league worshipper types) but they are only a segment of society and hopefully their voices will soon be muted and disregarded
