Perfect time for WAR

LOL, the chinese are indeed looking for war but that doesn't mean the others are as stupid as them to go for war. There's something called Psyops too. Or as Zaid Hamid puts it - 5th gen war. Its already established the chinese are the aggressors and are looking for war, now its on the victims to band together against these idiots.

War is the last thing China desires. They have always said they do not recognize the McMahon Line which they very rightly say was imposed by the British imperialist at that time. The only thing the Chinese have been asking Indians starting with Nehru is to fix up the border.

They want to be aggressors, its like have the cake and eat it too which will not work with every country, they agreed to the LAC and there is no way they can act aggressively to take over our areas, this act of theirs will end up in conflict if they dont back out. Their concerns if any can be taken care with dialogue. India will try its best to resolve it diplomatically but if there is no result then the army needs to take over.

Maybe the aliens are blackmailing Isro? He did one time say he has personally met them before and they took him up in their spaceship.

What?

This thread is indeed enjoyable...I loved it.

You dont know the IA, or probably you do - they got you independence against all odds, and as for 1962, 10000 ill equipped IA faced off against 80000 PLA human wave, they did lose but they fought hard annd when it was regrouping - the PLA went back to their hole.

and, dont forget it was the Indian soldiers who saved the chinese from the japanese or else we would have had a japanese border.

We got our independence by ourselves. When, after 8 months, victory was imminent crafty India barged, for a couple of days, in stealing victory from us.

Can any level headed Moderator close this BS thread. Please.

Or resurrect the thread instead? :P

Very true.

Look at the statements coming out from Chinese and Indian officials regarding this incident. Then you'll see who is warmongering.

India started this by setting up bunkers and an airfield on the border as well as starting aggressive patrolling.

In response we set up tents on our own side of the LAC, we never even crossed the LAC.

But now Indians are screaming that we are 20 km inside their territory? If that is true... why aren't they doing anything about it?

Arms procurement, which generate good graft, is one factor in this hue and cry.

Have Indian officials been warmongering? Any serving ministry official or armed forces personel said anything bellicose? The prime minister's statement was that it was a "localised problem, and can be resolved through dialogue." Does that sound like warmongering to you?

As to your concluding question - precisely because we are not warmongering. Indian officials are still calling for tea parties and meetings, instead of giving the local commanders the authority to do the needful.

About setting up an airfield - we did it in OUR territory, right? Not in China. What is wrong with that? Hasn't China built up a helluva lot more infrastructure on the border than India has? If that is OK, why is a similar action by India wrong? India hasn't built up 50 percent of the capability that China has done near the border; nor does she intend to, nor is she capable of it.

And what is "aggressive patrolling" anyway? Soldiers gnarling like Bruce lee while patrolling?

I think the reason for this transgression by China is that the new leader wants to build his credentials. To look tough, instead of looking like a fatigued person under challenge by several countries nearby. Why did he choose India to trangress? Because of its image as a "soft" state. A reputation that has been further strengthened by our (lack of) response.

These war mongers want total annihilation of this world. Okay let us not sit idle if they intrude and 'war' is only the last solution but do not call it war call it a localized skirmish.

There is no transgression. We have not crossed the LAC.

Even despite India breaking our tacit agreement by setting up permanent bunkers on the LAC.

If we are to believe India's claims that our soldiers are 20 km into Indian territory, then how on Earth is India not doing anything about it?

What is more likely is that our troops are still on our side of the border, and India is making lots of loud noises, but isn't actually doing anything about it because there is no transgression.

That would be utter stupidity on the part of the GoI. Why would they make a false accusation, to make themselves look impotent? As it is, they are facing the wrath and ridicule of the opposition for not doing anything about it. As it is, they have always faced charges of being too soft in foreign policy and military affairs. You think they would invent a story about a chinese transgression, and then sit around and do nothing, just to give more ammunition to their critics? What for, to provide their detractors with a stick to beat them with?

If anything, the GoI would have desperately tried to keep the incursion under wraps. Not invent the story of an incursion to make themselves look feeble.
