People caught looting belongings of crash victims

ISLAMABAD - A dirty picture at the site of Bhoja Airline plane crash emerged as few people from nearby areas remained busy in looting the luggage and expensive items of the victims of the crash.

The culprits were collecting jewelry, watches, imported bags and key items of the travelers who were flying from Karachi to Islamabad Friday night.

The heirs of victims reached the capital through a special flight by Pakistan Airlines.

“How is it possible for a human being to loot money and jewelry brewed in blood and flesh of a human,” said a person at the spot. “It is disgusting to see such things around dead bodies and wreckage of a plane,” he added.

Later the culprits were caught by security officials when police reached the spot.

What type of weird people they are!! their own brothers and sisters died in this tragic incident and they are looting from the dead!! disgusting!

Why should you be surprised? Only humans are capable of such acts. This looting happens all over the world whenever disaster strikes. Much of the human race is so far gone that it requires a reboot, and the sooner the better.

Since there was no looting in Japan after the tsunami at least, it then follows that there is hope for mankind yet, and a "reboot" may not be needed.

locals also helped immensely in rescue operation.
the whole recovery operation was completed in 7 hours.....

Financial desperation in Pakistan is running all time high thanks to roti kapra makan government.

I dont think so, as the plane crashed it was not possible to go near because of fir and heat than soon emergency team with police and security arrived at the seen that time security agencies did not allw any body to be very close except media, health and forensic people
But some criminal minded people always try to take advantage in accidents etc which is very shameful

For Pakistan being Muslim country, these people looting show us their frustration, no money, other items, and foods requirement. We are more worried for the future of Pakistan. The most amazing part is they don't feel guilty anything if they found expensive worthy.

Unfortunate part of the reality in the sub continent. But what would have helped is the authorities reaching the site before the new channel crews and the local people. When will we be able to create an awareness to handle such emergency situations.

I remember the Mangalore air crash had people rummaging through the aircraft debris and carrying a memento each in plain view of the news channels' camera. There was no official cordoning off of the crash site.
