What's new

People assume Muslims hate Hindus in Pakistan, I am living proof that this is not true

How did you derive that interesting figure of 1%? Fact is that Pakistan it self was created out of hatred for hindus. You are talking as if you are the only sane guy and others are fool.
No. An independent Muslim homeland was created in Hindustan to try and protect Muslims from the indirect serfdom they would have to endure at the hands of the elite Vedantists. It is unfortunate that only one Muslim homeland was created in 1947.
They who have power and ever rising power in Bharat cannot stomach the fact that Vedantists of old accepted Islam and sought to make their own destiny.

What a load of BS, Yeah that is why Hindus and Sikhs from Pakistan are emigrating enmasse and refusing to back for the fear of their lives.
Rinkle Kumari and others ring a bell?
On the other hand,No Muslim from India wants to emigrate to Pakistan even the so called Khans of Bollywood won't go to Pakistan even after being Invited to stay by Hafeez Sayeed and other prominent Pakistanis.
The Khans of Bollywood should go back to Afghanistan rather, if they seek to emigrate.

And yet, there are accounts published in Dawn about how Muslim shop owners in Pakistani Punjab don't let Sikhs drink tea from the same glasses as Muslims.

So, we do know the truth about what happens in Pakistan.
And this behaviour emanates from the traditions that our pre-Islamic forebears were accustomed to; Pakistan needs more time to "purify" herself from such behaviour.

You must think that we are not aware of Muslims or their practices.

Considering that Sikhs are not subjected to any such untouchability in India - now or ever, this is a purely Pakistani Muslim custom.

This is just the Pakistani Muslims trying to show that Muslims are better than non-Muslims, trying to put them down. Muslims do this in different areas differently(and even within Muslims)- there are concepts of Ashraf and Ajlaf as well.

.
Actually matter is that only lower cast people like meghs , bhel , kohlis are living in harsh system they are real persecuted people in Pakistan by both Muslims and so called hindu banyas but media focus only on banyas and think they are only hindus , banyas are opportunist they have no country , no religion , only trade ...... living with them i know them very well........ lower caste Hindus are actually persecuted in Pakistan they have no quotas and living below low level life..., ....

Are there not untouchables in Bharat? This concept of "untouchability" is from our pre-Islamic days; it is just that it has morphed onto others. I have even seen this being done to Christians in Pakistan even though Muslims can marry them!
Not all of our traditions & customs pre-Islam were bad. These should be kept; but others not.

It is literally a crime by law to call someone untouchable or practice untouchability in India.

So what about the Islamic tradition of Ajlaf and Ashraf? Or that you need 4 male witnesses to prove rape?

To the extent that human dignity is affronted and oppression is committed in the name of being Ashraf over Ajlaf, it is manifestly wrong; to the extent that the Ashraf wants to only intermarry with other Ashrafs, that is his perorgative.
(I am what would be considered Ajlaf and am married to someone who would be considered Ashraf in the Subcontinental context.)

Having a caste system is not in itself wrong; many cultures have similar institutions but it should not be a cause to someone being persecuted or oppressed or denied their dignity which he is, if he is not even allowed to greet others or sit with them due to his birth and not due to any defect in his ability or character. I am glad to hear that untouchability is disappearing from Bharat. I should hope that it does likewise in Pakistan.

Remember that many cultures had/have a concept of "high" and "low" based upon lineage including the Persians and Turks; when they became rulers of Hindustan or parts thereof, those who were from them were naturally higher than the natives as the ruled have always been. This was not something intrinsic to Islam but to those cultures who had embraced Islam. Traditions do linger on.
Or in the case of those being descended from the Prohetic lineage; they should be respected and given their due but not at the expense of someone else. Remember that the Last Prophet (PBUH) was from the noblest tribe of the Arabs and this was in the Arab perspective; but he would stand up for slaves and ex-slaves when they would enter to meet him.

As to rape, it would better to ask some one more informed in Islamic jurisprudence. All I can say is that for fornication consensual; this requires four eyewitnesses seeing the act of penetration. I do not know whether they have to be male or female.
