Pentagon scientists use 'Time Hole' to make events disappear

ahh i remember reading about this, i think it has to do with slowing down portions of light so that there is a gap in the middle, and thats where another even happens, then speeding light up again, to the end user, that is the person on the other end looking at it they will not see the event that happened in the middle.

. .
Bending light around something just makes it invisible does not makes it disappear from history that object existed.

Time is uni directional

That is why what is born must taste meaning of death

real question is -- if u guys had access to this tech. whats the first thing you would do??

you could have a lot of fun....!

The entire experiment occurred inside a fiber optics cable. Researchers passed a beam of green light down the cable, and had it move through a lens that split the light into two frequencies, one moving slowly and the other faster. As that was happening, they shot a red laser through the beams. Since the laser “shooting” occurred during a teeny, tiny time gap, it was imperceptible.

Can some one explain, logically, why this should be considered an act of 'time cloaking' or the creation of a 'time hole'?

Neuralyzer can be made.....when you see an object, the photo receptors pass information to the brain....if one can track the incident light and frequency of it....back track to change memory that holds the information the receptors provided, can be altered....seems like science fiction but can be done.....zoz same was said about artificial trans mutation and tele-portation.....both are at nascent stage.
Ahem! The journey of a photon ends at the retina of the eye. There on the cells dont "channel" the light into "memory modules" in the brain. The incident light on the retinal cells signals the photoreceptor cells to synthesize certain proteins which help in rapid conduction of electrical impulses along the nerves to the visual center. There after, post analysis of the image(s) they are rerouted, if need be, either to the cortex where patterns in neural communication form short term memories or to the hippocampus where long term memories are similarly formed. All in all, memory formation entails a very complicated process of protein synthesis and DNA manipulation - not exactly in that particular order.

Hence a Neuralyzer is NOT possible, not as of yet. Not for the forseeable future. Unless one wants to chop off the hippocampus region deep within the brain.

OT: IIRC only gravity can 'bend' light. Does that mean we generate an immense gravitational field around subjects to bend light? Given the recent apparent discovery of the Higgs Boson, how close are we to really understand Gravity and manipulate it - again given that gravity is the least powerful of all the forces in nature and permeates various dimensions.

^ Its just a theory, didn't say it might work. That's the whole point isn't it. BTW nice analysis.

A lot of words, no substance = BS.

Its not BS....do you know why we can't see anything in Black Hole..........coz even light can't escape from it and for us to see anything, we need reflected light from the black hole........its not science fiction.....scientists have done research on bending light and slowing it by using prism...

Look at how our eyes work and we see things....

A honest and genuine wish; Can they eliminate the birth of all the people who are sitting in our parliament today :D

The problem with the technology is that it relies on cloaking in dimensions that the human eye/camera can trace. Since cameras are made to absorb frequency of light that the humans can 'see' its easy to fool the camera if its possible to fool the human eye. However, what happens when the viewing is in infrared or thermal imaging or sonar or some other form? Military does not rely on any single imaging/targeting function.

When are they making Justin Bieber disappear?
Why the hell you see him at the first place. He is not lurking around you....

If the incident light is excited to ultraviolet range, infra red and visual detectors won't see it.
