I can't say anything about your case, but one thing is for sure, this forum has been taken over by nationalists, mostly religious ones. Once upon a time, this was a very diverse online community. Different religions and nationalities were respected and your opinion was tolerated, no matter if you were from the left or right in Pakistan.

Now, just one example of how this forum has declined in standards; you see countless comments about Hindus and their religion, disrespecting dead soldiers of other countries, and the comments are left to stay. This is a disaster. I have been here a long long time, but now I feel it's better not to post because your opinion will be almost always be replied with brainless rant.

I have been posting on PDF for over 7 years now always found it to be vibrant, diverse and accomodating of differant opinions. However of late there appears to be agenda driving the mod team. @Dubious and @The Eagle have managed to wreck what was bastion of free speach and turned PDF into a narrow, low quality posting forum. Many quality members have left and those still around rarely post. Instead there appears to be few knobs with pack of immature young kids screaching behind them. I write this only because having been on this forum for a long time I feel rather sad about where it is now.

You really need to look into this @WebMaster I have lot of respect for you, if you indeed are the same Webby. There was talk by some that you had moved on.

Well, one thing is certain you had been busy on this forum. Joined in 2012 15,300+ posts shows you had been busy.
I am certain that out of these 15000+ posts most of them were useless one liners, which contributed not much to intelligent discussions.
Shouldn't you be looking inwards rather than outwards and blaming others!!

I joined in 2011, a year before you, I have not reached 2000 posts yet. Just for comparison.

It is up to Mods to decide. They are keepers and guardians of this forum.

Recently, a thread on upcoming military acquisition of India ($130 billion), first few comments were pictures of India's toilets. And mods seem to let it go. How will you have a constructive discussion if they are allowed to troll?

Only If you could filter out the threads and responses between 2008-2013/14 you would know how correct OP is. A lot of people advocated outright banning of most Indian members recently. If I may ask, did that improve anything?

@Oscar No matter how you much you drone about times changing and all that, people still have some conscience left and they are coming out from everywhere be it left, right and center.

What a pity, it's too late.

Whatever were your goals, be it nationalism or some social experiment - you have succeeded.

@scorpionx don't mind the forum admin or mods. Pressure from the top if you know what i mean. I have to stay still the guys directing it are fools, they went overboard and the forum failed. now they hardly have any audiences except for those which were already in their pocket. what use is preaching to the choir

I have been visiting this website for last 5 years i think. Got banned as well once for calling Zaid Hamid stupid. But the quality of forum was really great until a few months back.

Currently, there are many members whose post counts are in 1000s and i bet most of their posts are in single sentence: "haha" " i dont agree" "saale indian c**tiye" "let them go to hell". Thats the whole contribution they have to the forum. Then there are people who will pick a tweet from a random guy and there would be a disucssion of 10 pages about it. If i have seen carefully 90% of the threads in the forum are not even related to defence. The favourite topic of the fourm is how backward India is (as if pakistan have already achieved the European Standards or living) and that India is dirty. I dont know how such topics are even allowed. One thread is fine and have a discussion of 1000 pages on this is fine. But countless new threads on daily basis about them.....

Who cares? Is there anything left to discuss about? It's all tu tu mein mein. When you reduce the scope of discussion to a single line what else is left except collision. As for me and most of my fellow countrymen we are just watching from the sidelines for old time's sake with disgust and some pity mixed in.

take some of the most rabid India hating posters Desert fighter, Zarvan and so on, how much do they post anymore? Is it out of sympathy for Indians? No. It's because waving a sword at empty air is no fun

Recent banning of Indian posters, on somewhat mass scale, was executed by @waz and prime reason was their persistent gloating over the recent excesses and atrocities of India, on people of IoJK, consequent to revoking of Article 370. I also felt that, under the circumstances, communication with Indian posters has almost become impossible. A constant exchange of abuses and name calling can hardly be termed as a constructive exchange. Perhaps, in a state of war, an exchange of logical views remains no more possible. After all, war is a manifest expression of the principle of "might is right", where logic is replaced by the exercise of physical force.

It's the same old mindless inane and insane nonsense. waz, The Eagle and Dubious are the only 3 who are trying to bring some semblance of sanity in to it. they are trying to stop it from being a Pakistan Defamation Forum and in the process some egos are being hurt. In his tin-can days the op was out of control, he could not even mention a black person without using the word n!gger. if them putting a stop to it is a demote-able offense then God help webby!
